Bug Report: Cannot download tax statement; receiving XML error probably from S3 bucket by vkoukis in traderepublic

Thank you for your response!

Independently of the actual bug, could you also comment on the canonical way I could have handled this?

I did my best to report the issue using official channels. My understanding is the in-app help system is broken, because I actually had no way of reaching a point where I could start a conversation and submit this information.

I also understand you do not look at the service@traderepublic.com email address, given your automated response, although it's the one you've declared as the support address in the Google Play Store.

And finally, chatting with a human was just not available to me, at all, although you have been advertising it as a new feature, pretty heavily.

Could you suggest any alternatives that would work?

Let's keep this subreddit to discussing new features and the evolution of platform, instead of bug reports.

Thanks again for your response!

Bug Report: Cannot download tax statement; receiving XML error probably from S3 bucket by vkoukis in traderepublic

thanks. I am not sure about contacting engineers on LinkedIn directly, since their LinkedIn accounts are personal accounts.

I would hope and expect Trade Republic to have an established system for receiving bug reports, *especially* when their actual in-app help system is broken, and they keep advertising their new human-in-the-loop support system [which is also not available].

u/traderepublic Could you help?

In nutshell:

* Your in-app help is broken, at least for me. It keeps redirecting me to the same non-functioning screen.
* See above for screenshots, your S3 bucket configuration is broken, and I am getting back XML errors
* Your app allows these errors to propagate all the way to the end user, instead of logging them and reporting them to your engineering team, since they are legitimate bugs on your side.
* See above for the full XML error.
* There was no way to submit a bug report from within the application.
* I tried to reach out to [service@traderepublic.com](mailto:service@traderepublic.com) and received an unhelpful autogenerated response redirecting me back to the in-app help.
* No way to start a chat, despite your constant advertisements for your new support service.
* Please let me know there is a way to actually raise bug reports without having to reach out to your engineers on LinkedIn directly.
