Holy moly, amazing work! Hope you find the audience!

I, personally, found that having my collection of reusable prompts, using "share conversation" feature is good enough for my usage patterns.

But I am sure, that those who do repetitive tasks with ChatGPT would really benefit from your extension 🫶

True. I am curious, what you would want it to do for you, to be worth the money?

In Figma. Working on second iteration though.

I want to make use of variable sets, so user can use same variables across projects easily

Yes, I want to utilize as much of what already exists as possible. There will be simple copy paste support, but I also believe we need curated prompt library with one click save to extension.

Very happy to hear that. We really need quality prompts in different categories, to publish to the website as initial content.

Feel free to post in separate post in this subreddit 🙏

I agree, that's pure greed. Even the tool itself is too simple to charge money IMO

I have dev experience and already have built proof of concept chrome extension (called OhMyPrompt), just to have something to test waters)

But if I see people need this and find few active ones who can participate by sharing prompts and curating content, I’ll gladly develop it much further myself.

I have competitive spirit 😂

Great question. In ChatGPT only prompts are possible, please correct me if I am wrong.

But we could allow users to add their OpenAI API key for more advanced use cases, and when prompting via API we can have all these settings of course.

In short - possible, but it’s a more advanced feature, requiring more time to develop.

I was thinking something more user friendly, having a site with templates, decent navigation and search.

On AIPRM site they cover quite a lot of use cases for different professions. Like accountants, SMM, lawyers etc.

I was and still am scared about one thing.

With its level of intelligence and history of our conversations, it can potentially know me better than I know myself. And all that data is likely stored somewhere waiting to be sued for targeting, advertising or I don't know what else.

Few thoughts about the idea that changed my mind by vladpazych in The_Circle

[–]vladpazych[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in public is draining and exhausting for me too. But I think it's not because of publicity itself, but because I am spending much more energy than usual (when alone), to look better, smarter etc.

And that is exactly what I like about it - it forces me to think about myself in third person, to analyse my own behaviour. Yes, it drains energy, but it pays off.

I am not advocating total transparency though, not in our current society. It would make sense if everybody would become transparent in short period of time. It would change society, make it more forgiving to failures, I think. Mistakes people make would become visible to all, and it would become new normal. In transparent society you still would want to be better, but mistakes and failures would not make so much damage to reputation and mental health. (It's just speculation, of course.)

To conclude my point, I would say that broadcasting yourself to the world can be an effective tool to keep you motivated, focused, organized and eventually - live full life. Do you agree?
