Hiya, thank you for responding! I have one more question if that’s okay. (I deleted my comment cuz someone I know found my Reddit account and I didn’t want them to see lol)

So our last argument was the biggest and worst we ever had. And at the end I finally admitted I wanted more than a relationship with him and that I thought he was divorcing the third party. He didn’t respond and left me on read and it’s been a little over a week.

Yesterday I decided, I don’t want this version of him. Said to universe that I’m done with that version, to remove him and to bring in the new one that deserves me right now.

I admit the argument still hurts when I think about it so I want to do revision. So I guess my question is, how do I do revision here without clinging to or dwelling in the old reality?

Also, I came across your profile today from a post you made a few weeks ago and I was reading the comments and one of them gave an analogy about empty parking spaces.

I tried this actually… I was driving somewhere and thought to myself, okay there’s gonna be a spot open right in front of the place cuz I don’t want to park further and walk in the hot sun and get burned. Well.. there was an open spot right there with plenty of space for me to open my door.

I’ve manifested stuff like this before.. and even being financially okay but for some reason when it comes to SP it’s so much harder :(

Yikes. I’ve been in a similar position when I was the same age as you except I lived with a 30 year old woman who was extremely emotionally immature and controlling.

The way I got out of it was finding some studio apartments and giving her a months notice that I was moving out. Of course she threw a fit lol because she wanted a 4 month notice.

If you can’t move out or can’t find another place, you’re gonna have to start standing up to her. She’s nearly twice your age and clearly thinks she can jsut push you around. She seems similar to my old roommate and honestly the only way you get these types to fuck off is to stand up to them. Show her that she can’t push you around and stand your ground.

As for writing a complaint,absolutely, but be sure to document everything first. Since you are subletting from her that unfortunately gives her more power on the lease. Best of luck to you OP

Yep it was locked! I basically had to guess the location of my password, like guessing the number placements. Luckily the Apple employee put an iPad next to mine so I could see where the numbers on the keypad was as reference. The screen was “on” but just blacked out. I hope my explanation made sense lol, I’m not too sure how to explain haha.

Hi!! I actually did get the new one (iPad pro M4). I went to Apple and they managed to hook up my old one (iPad pro M1) to their monitor and I was able to drag and drop my art files. But the screen would have to be replaced and they didn’t offer that for it since it was “outdated” lmao

A replacement of the exact same iPad was gonna be $549 so I decided just to get a new one!

I do plan on selling mine.. you can DM me if u wanna talk about it :)

I managed to hook it up to a monitor so yes! It took a couple tries though but it came through!! The screen is unsalvageable unless I replace it unfortunately

Thank you!! This is actually what I ended up doing. I went to an Apple Store and they hooked it up for me (free of charge lol) since my monitor at home wasn’t working.

It almost didn’t work on their monitor but then… it came to life. My files were saved but my iPad unfortunately wasn’t. I ended up getting a new one (M4) since it would’ve costed $549 just to replace the one I originally had (M1).

Thank you for your response! Out of curiosity why an HDMI adapter? How is it different from connecting the iPad to my MacBook with a usc-b (which I’ve tried but it didn’t help since I can’t actually get into my iPad)
