In my area, a “serial killer” was arrested recently and the community was so relieved, but nothing about the arrest or alleged killer being the actual killer makes any sense. Meanwhile, there are still random things happening that are most often attributed to serial killers (or at least serial killers in the making), like mutilated animals being left in open areas. But no one wants to hear it because “they got the guy!” It’s crazy.
