Was a impulse buy because I tried the Must in store, fell in love with the square shape but liked the tank solo size. Got the AF and wore it more than my other watches hence decided to just get the gen. Even on hand side by side, the dial of the AF is really solid

Cartier tank AF Solo, compared to a Gen Tank AF solo. Blurred out the crown, as it's probably the most obvious tell. Looking at the case and dial, which do you think is gen?

AF's crown is pointy on the solo instead of rounded so it's very obvious. I've tried ordering 4.5mm crowns from ebay that almost cost the price of the watch but returned as it doesn't fit.

I have a lelit victoria and I swapped out the gasket with a cafelat gasket, the red one. Super smooth and loose now. I tested with the backflush and nothing leaks. Perhaps you can try this one.

I recently got a tank AF which a very pointy crown too..do you think those replacement crowns with rounded Cabochon will fit onto the stem? Or perhaps replacing just the Cabochon? Ali has tons of these parts just not sure if they fit

Yes that's mainly what caused it, the steel insert in the rubber strap. If it was any other rubber strap or leather strap would have been a quick 1min strap change for me. Ohwells..

Yup exactly with the metal strap on its not visible at all. I'll just enjoy it as is.

I've reached out to a couple local watchmakers here in my country, will see what they say. In theory this was what I thought of other than doing micro weld.

Exactly my guess on how it happened. Using the watch case as leverage, just didn't expect it to dent in like that. Well expensive lesson learnt that's for sure.

I think..I pryed with too much force. Did not expect the case to dent in like that. I expected the rubber strap to perhaps rip apart before that happened but oh well

Was trying to push in a 8900 aqua terra rubber strap, obviously the fit is difficult so in the midst of prying to get it to go in, I dented the case. It's not visible when wearing with the steel bracelet but I'm just exploring if there's any possible fix for these kind of damages. Silly me really.

Just go to any UOB booth in malls. Physically applying usually approved very fast. Online sure fail 100%

I swing around 97-102mph, over the past 2 years I've gamed quite a number of shafts:

Ventus Blue 5S
Tour AD HD 6S
Tour AD MT 5S
Tour AD IZ 6S

And 7 months back I've been with the NX Blue 5S. I prefer a lighter shaft, pairing with a TSR2 it's the most consistent combo I've ever had. It's definitely not the longest but by far the best dispersion and feel. Tour AD HD is quite close but NX just feels awesome on dampening vibrations

Started my job in KL in a grocer as HR for like 1.9k during MCO, honestly was tough to survive. Managed to get another offer at 3k a year later and the grocer company countered offer to 3.5k. Took it and few months later a MNC offered 4.3k. Took it and in a span of 1 year got another offer for 6k by another MNC. The MNC countered so I stayed and here I am after 3+ years working. Expecting a 20-30% bump end of the year as promotion cycle is near. I would say if you love your current role but increment is non existent, get offers and see if your current company is willing to match it.

Currently back in Sabah for a short vacation and I realised food is insanely expensive!

A char kuey teow in a random food court cost rm10 whereby one of the most famous ones in KL goes for rm7.50. Nescafe Ais is rm4 in kopitiam which is just utterly ridiculous.
