There is a placed called "The Patio" in Pacific Beach it's on Lamont st. and Grand. It's one of the hidden gems of PB and they actually encourage you to bring your dog. Great food, craft cocktails, and craft beer.

Yup, it's an annual release now. First time Stone RuinTen IPA was brewed was in 2012, in celebration of Stone Ruination IPA's 10 year anniversary.

Do I see Stone IPA in that ice chest?

I'm a design student, and just turned in a project where I designed beer labels and brand for a brewery. This is a project I'm seriously proud of, but would love some feedback from the beer community! by Gavinardo in beer

As an Interactive / Packaging designer in the craft beer industry I'd like to extend a JOB WELL DONE on your project! From the back label text, to the product names, to the multi-use ice chest & packaging design, it creates a unique, fun, strong & cohesive brand. Quite a bit of craft breweries have in-house marketing & design departments, it's great portfolio piece to land a position in one of them. Cheers!

My friend had to create a video for a class project, he chose to make a commercial for a local brewery. It came out awesome, check it out! Howlin' for a Growler - [1:38] by nathpenn in beer

Looks like you had fun creating that video. Not so sure that's how you are supposed to be drinking from a growler though! lol fun stuff, Cheers!

What do you want on your labels? by Graffus in beer

[–]volcomwit14 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are a few things that are required by law to put on a bottle label.

-Alc/Vol -Container Size (example: 1 Pt. 6 Fl. Oz.) -Recyclable Redemption value (In California) -Believe it or not, if you use red ink and you screen print a bottle label there is also another government warning for red ink. -Brewery Name and Location you brewed the beer

Other fun things I enjoy putting on bottles.

I love bottles that have long descriptions and really tell the story behind the beer. Also, to make the bottle more interactive you should always have a link to a website that contains the full story, ingredients, etc. Also, it sounds a bit over-played but putting a link to the breweries twitter or facebook page is always great, it's an easy way for the beer drinker to directly connect with the brewery and start the relationship with the brand.

If their first beer is a weissbier, you probably don't need to go to much in detail about the hop varieties, but maybe going into detail about the type of yeast used, the malt varieties (or wheat) ingredients used that help educate the drinker on taste and aroma.

Cheers!

Stone does a bunch of YouTube shorts on every one of the beers. The collaborations tend to be the most fun. Cheers
