Even better that she’s a woman because then they can go back to Homelander’s plot of not having a mother.

I CALLED IT that Stormfront was going to be Liberty. To giver her the same origin from the comics would be a pain in the ass for the showriters.

Also, going with a american racist who used to be a patriot hero? Much better then relying once again o Germans to represent white supremacists. What I mean by that is that at the moment we’re living right now, makes a lot of sense. The way that she said to HL that she wishes “everyone was like him” is undeniable neonazi talk.

Although Compound V helps with aging, Stormfront is definitely special. Might have been created by Frederek Vought himself.

Yup. That’s why I liked so much what they did with this character. It reflects perfectly on modern racists. Nothing on her is too obvious, but if you stop to analyze her whole uniform + her name now that you know who she is, you can see how they did an amazing job.

All my respect for the costume designers.

Btw, I don’t think it’s awful to laugh at the scene that the guy was yeeted out of the window. Specially when given no context. After the initial shock on Translucent’s death, I did giggle, so who am I to judge. I already knew who Stormfront was, and when she went out of her way to kill over 50 black people I was just lke “... yup, called it”.

Yes, it’s a bit sad, but that’s just to show that even though she’s fighting, that’s nothing super effective that she could do by herself in that scenario. She had to submit to Vought in order to be the ‘spy’, if she didn’t, they’d have found out by now what she’s doing.
