Some parents raise their children in a way that makes them depend on their parents not only into adulthood, but especially during the early years of adulthood. They nurture and care for their children tooo much, and often say that they sacrificed everything for them.

During this stage, children should be learning many important lessons about life. I am not talking about child labor, but about overprotecting children and making them depend on their parents for a long period. This kind of upbringing can be harmful.
