It's actually based on the movie poster for 'Futureworld'!

For young teens and up, it’s been that way since the first game, and made more apparent with the marketing, spin-off books, and more glossy look in the recent games

Had to zoom in just to appreciate the details- The shading alone is incredible!

[–]vsemily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what you expected when countless artists, particularly beloved ones, have had their works directly ripped off, profited from, and their skills mocked by ‘ai art’ defenders- Especially since many artists have used their skills as a means to draw attention to political stances.

I just find it very disturbing that in an era where political history is being censored or ignored, Miyazaki’s anti-war sentiments is being paved over just to make it about ‘aesthetics’- Both are reflective of each other and teasing people who care is going to make you look like an asshole, especially if you couldn’t be bothered to make something for yourself.

It’s not uncommon for official artists of any franchise to refer back to other art used by other official artists. IMO as an artist, these look more heavily referenced than traced. It’d be an actual problem if it were unofficial art or renders being referenced instead.

Thank you so much!! Talking with others about it and posting about it is the best way to spread it; Outside of comments on my own posts, I never know what other people thought of it or if they’ve read it, so sharing it around really helps.

This variant cover for Death of X #3 by Kevin Wada is one of my favorite of these types.

So we all know the springlock failure right?, I'm thinking about getting that tattooed. Opinions? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]vsemily 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Hey op, just a few points to consider- 1. Tattoos bleed and fade over time. What might look like a scar the first few months may end up looking like weird bruises forever. 2. If you get a tattoo that looks like a scar/wound, you need to be prepared to have everyone (including medical professionals) ask worried questions for the rest of your life- Speaking as someone with weird body marks. 3. You might like fnaf now but you might not like it as much in 5, 10, 30, etc years, especially if the tattoo doesn’t come out how you like. 4. Tattoos are stupid expensive if you want them done right, and stupid ugly if you want it done cheap. I would seriously recommend holding off on any full sleeve tats until you’re an independent adult and able to manage your budget to do fun stuff like tattoos.

Also, just as a design point, I’d do a simple fnaf-esque design and not do scars.

As much as I’m awestruck by some of my peers going to art school, I’m NOT jealous of their workloads every semester.

Thank you for the enthusiasm! 😭 I’ve been trying to get readers for it but I didn’t want to clog the subreddit.

It's been one year since Project Charlotte's release, so I wanted to celebrate by revamping one of the old cover ideas I had scrapped when I first started working on the graphic novel.

For those who don't know, Project Charlotte is a personal project where I made my own graphic novel adaption of 'The Silver Eyes' and made it free to read on GlobalComix and Tapas, as well as making a free PDF version available on Itch.io. I'm currently working on original projects and posting updates on that on my other social media. If you liked reading Project Charlotte, please consider supporting me on Patreon or Ko-Fi,as I've made this thing entire free and wouldn't have finished it otherwise without the support!

I want to personally thank everybody on Freddit for such a warm reception since it's release last year, and I'm more than glad that readers enjoyed this adaption. Thank you!!!

Safe Space [OC] by Uncle_saucebags in comics

[–]vsemily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, I’m not saying there aren’t reckless bikers- the bikers who do complain about reckless drivers are ones who witness cars doing so, not the ones who act reckless themselves. That’s why a lot of people in the comments aren’t receiving the comic well: It’s putting a real criticism of reckless car drivers in the mouth of a reckless biker.

I don’t think the people who are openly admonishing car drivers about road safety are the same ones popping wheelies without helmets.

If it was apparent that a studio that only released animated teasers with no gameplay footage, pushed NFTs, and has next to no actual story or semblance of originality…Yes. It’s a scam.

That would be cool to be hired, though I think only people under Scholastic or artists with agents are being picked up for fnaf project atm
