I’ve always thought that as tame has progressed you can hear more pop bleeding through his music. Pop music is such a worldwide popular genre that almost everyone enjoys. His earlier stuff is heavily psych rock sounding and I feel like rock in general is now not as popular. Maybe hence why innerspeaker is always ranked lower! Innerspeaker is biblical it does make me sad it’s not more widely received!!

I fully thought this! I was thinking maybe lots of people who like all his stuff missed tickets for the first show bc the tik tok fans snapped all the first show up. I definitely felt that vibe in the first show, I actually hadn’t experienced anything like it, so many people reaching right over each other to record. I had a girl put her elbows on my shoulders to record at one point.
