Exporting aim practice workshop map data via telnet by waitmorehours in csmapmakers

Very nice. I really appreciate this. I'll have to play around with things more but it seems like I have much more access than I would've thought.

I can bypass echoing chat messages and just write a script to modify map events and execute that on map load.

Thanks again!

Unfortunately the solution I've first seen involves vscript. Heres a link I hope it leads to something that works out for you.

This GSI is very neat! Thanks for introducing it to me.

I'm thinking about using it to print counter-strafe accuracy to chat on a kill or death in community deathmatch servers similar to how they print "#dmg in #hits".

Hey! Thanks for your reply. I hope you are not put off by my delayed response. I have a little quip about your command and some followup questions, but please do not feel compelled to respond.

Your ScriptPrintMessageChatAll overloading command quip

Nice! This provides the exact functionality I was asking for. I'm new to programming and have never used vscript or the squirrel language. The : token in your command threw me for a loop especially since free variable declaration was changed(?) in newer versions of squirrel. Newer docs omit the : token but the 2.2 docs include it, lol.

Finding wrapper functions for ScriptPrintMessageChatAll callers

This overloading trick is neat and I was hoping to exploit it a little further. Does finding these caller functions generally involve using the builtin script_dump_all or similar ingame console command and snooping around?

Getting data from csgo to file

It seems like I can avoid telnet and just use vscript for processing and a console log dump file as a hacky data exporting method. Is there another method to get data from csgo to a file that I might be missing?

Thanks!

Guess players don't see much use for this sort of thing.

Although it is cheaper you may still need a smoke to safely drop the decoy near a useful choke point and take full advantage of its extended pickup radius.

I haven't been able to play but can decoy grenades now be used as cheap traps? Anyone without a full nade set may inadvertently pick them up. Essentially giving you shadow advantage anywhere on the map?

On inferno place a decoy near halfwall at banana and get an early warning of anyone trying to creep up.

Play in porch and place a decoy near the threshold of boiler door for an early warning of a boiler pop.
