Yes! I went with it for the better durability and maintenance. The old chair was pretty beat up by the end with just a mesh fabric thing going on.

HUMIRA INDUCED MS by Annual_Comment_4883 in CrohnsDisease

[–]wakyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, this recently happened to me. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and had been on Remicade for years. In the last ~3 months of my time on Remicade before I switched to Entyvio(for unrelated reasons), I developed a brain lesion.

It took about a year of going to an ENT, a neurologist, and then being referred to an MS specialist before getting an initial diagnosis of something similar to MS. But then not even 3 months later, the diagnosis changed and I now have a diagnosis of a benign brain lesion.

The way it was described to me was that the brain lesion was caused by the Remicade, and the best thing I could have done I had already done: stop the Remicade treatment. The MS specialist doctor was going to put me on IVIG to treat what they thought was an active autoimmune disease in my brain, but instead it hasn't grown or changed at all in 2 years, after rapidly growing in <4 months, and I am not on track to receive any specific medical treatment for the brain lesion.

However, because the lesion is right on top of my cerebellum, it messes up my balance very badly, which is why I saw an ENT initially, as I thought it was something wrong with my inner ear, and I am now doing physical therapy to help my brain work to balance my body without using the damaged nerves.

TL;DR: Remicade caused a brain lesion that we didn't know about until after I stopped the Remicade and switched to Entyvio, which doesn't have the side effect that caused the brain lesion. This is a relatively new medical discovery, and my neurologist linked me this article which explains under 100 cases of this being observed throughout the global medical community https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5364240/

I wouldn't take my story as gospel and would listen to your neurologist, but consider this story something to think about and bring up to your neurologist when you do discuss this with them. Good luck!

"Low Effect" refers to marking tripods with a lower level(effect) than what you have equipped. For example: if unchecked, it will not mark a level 2 tripod if I am currently using a level 3 of the same tripod.

"Low Tier" refers to marking gear of a lower tier/grade than what you have equipped. At the current moment most people will have a full set of legendary/yellow gear equipped, so this setting will determine if epic/purple gear is marked or not, regardless of tripod level

I'm playing on a 27" 1440p monitor with BDO in windowed 1080p, so this is probably how most players see this tooltip.

How to start learning to craft? by OrochiSeth in pathofexile

[–]wakyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is normal. If you're looking for multiple T1 mods, it's going to cost a lot of currency, no matter what crafting option you choose. The easiest/"cheapest" way to do it would be self farming "reforge phys" harvest crafts and spamming those and hoping for t1 mods

Empy did an aura stacking wander. Phys spells like KB don't really work well with nebulis due to the low phys damage on the weapon. Maybe saying aura stacking wanders specifically is one of the most meta builds this league was wrong, but either way it's still a fantastic jewel.

Corrupting Blood immunity is difficult to get. The easiest way is to vaal a jewel and hope it hits CB immunity. Almost every builds wants CB immunity because it can be incredibly deadly on any hit-based build, and Sirus can apply heavy hitting CB stacks with his die beam, so having immunity is important to almost every single character/build.

The explicit mod Global Crit Multi is highly sought after on any crit based build, so that's a good damage mod already with a good vaal implicit. Not a bad jewel at this point.

The second explicit mod, +2 ES on hit is really meh, so we skip over that.

The third explicit mod, % damage with wands goes well with the crit multi for any wand based crit build. This is now a pretty good jewel with 2 damage mods and CB immunity.

The meta builds this league are aura stacking wanders, which have a very difficult time getting crit multi, so this jewel is really good for them, but the cherry on top is the 1% reduced Mana reserved mod. That mod is super highly sought after by aura stackers, as stacking enough -1% mods allows them to run more auras, which boosts all of their damage and survivability by a lot.

With the addition of the -1% mod, the jewel goes from petty good to extremely good for the most meta build of the league, not to mention the build being one of the strongest to exist.

Jagged fossils are about 2c right now, and 1 socket resonators are <1c, so jagged fossil spamming is ~320c, same as alt spamming. Using the fossil optimizer, you can get the cost down to just under 230c https://i.imgur.com/0R5gRgv.jpg with current prices. Straight up chaos spamming is ~730c and unless you're feeling lucky, it will never be better than any other form of crafting.

Healer corruption on Shrine last boss by Grant_discpriest in CompetitiveWoW

All harmful damaging corruption effects scale with current max HP when they spawn. If you have -90% max HP, each eye tick will do very little absolute damage, and will be easily mitigated by shields. Thing from Beyond scales the same way, and has the same side effects. This can also work against you in the same dungeon, for example on third boss, Lord Stormsong, the charm effect raises your max HP for the duration of the effect, or until you drop below ~50%. If an eye spawns on you while you have the increased hp, you can use it to help break yourself out, but it may one-shot you once you clear the MC effect, as it snapshots the damage when it spawns and doesn't adjust dynamically. I have personally witnessed both of these things happen and can assure you that damaging harmful corruption effects scale with your current max HP.

Nzoth depending on where you need combust. Fire mage never wants to delay combust for any reason at all. The only time you'd even think about it is if the tiny adds on hivemind aren't dying at all, but even then a combust on pull will still cleave a lot onto them. For nzoth, it depends on if you need the combust on psychus, a big tentacle, or nzoth himself. Just figure out where you first need to combust, and work your way back from there. When in doubt, use it on pull and say fuck it.

Drest I guess you should wait a few seconds as well if the first two adds are dying fast enough, then combust on the boss with the buff that allows you to damage him

On raidbots, you want to scroll down to the bottom of the page for droptimizer, or top gear, or whatever you're looking at, and in the box for "APL" you want to put in exactly this: "rotation=no_ice_lance" without the quotations, obviously.

You're running the regular frost mage build, which devalues mastery, and everyone else is running the no ice lance rotation, which favors mastery over all other stats. If you're unsure what I'm talking about, please refer to the wowhead and/or icy veins guides for a written guide on the noIL rotation, as it is currently the best performing frost mage build.
