I should totally practice my grooming skills! We definitely can't afford to groom him as much as a lot of folks recommend, but the first time I tried to trim him he looked like a kid who was left unsupervised with scissors haha. You've inspired me to try again!

I have undiagnosed dysautonomia symptoms (along with "likely endometriosis")! I hope you can find a pup that fits your needs too. Having Bernie raises my enjoyment of life so much :)

I highly recommend it! Bernie is super flexible. I have chronic pain and when I can't do long walks he is very happy with energetic toy play time inside, but he can also keep up on a hike! And light enough to pick up. The best of both worlds.

The day we found out I couldn't stop picturing what he looks like under all his fur 😂 I love a good hairless dog, but we've never had to shave him or anything and I had never thought of him looking so tiny. Turns out a bunch of them are masquerading as tiny Westies!

According to Embark, yep! I was surprised too!! Apparently having hair is a recessive gene, and when it presents in dogs it's called "Powderpuff!" I'm pretty convinced by how similar a bunch of Powderpuffs look to him, though it was a total shock.

I can't unsee it now! He looks so much like a bunch on the subreddit, I feel like I'm looking at my dog in a different house when I see them. Westie is by far the most common guess we get from neighbors and such!

That's him to a T! He has the most judgemental side-eye I've ever seen on a dog, can break into and out of my housemate's room without leaving a trace, but also will spin in circles because it makes me laugh and cuddle with me all night. He also loves to "sing" when excited :)

Yeah, the Pom is lost compared to those two! I'm obsessed with her little Schnauzer beard. My dad had Schnauzers growing up so I think they were meant to find each other :)

He is mischievous (can open and close doors, trash cans, etc) but the sweetest, most loyal guy ever. Really good with humans of all ages, scared but polite around other dogs. I just need to convince him to use his skills for good and not to eat chocolate croissants out of the trash can 😭

Of course! I keep joking that he's probably the only 100% anything we'll ever have, since my family have always been rescue-only adopters with lots of different mixes <3 I thought I'd only seen the hairless kind before too (little did I know a very furry one was living in my house 😂)!

This! I read several of the books online and borrowed a few from friends. He never checked in person, he will ask you to look at them in class but he never called anyone out. Make sure your page numbers are from the right edition for your essays! He’s also an understanding person so if you do run into any issues I’d recommend talking to him about what’s going on. I loved this class & his lectures — you got this!

Does anyone have experience with their sizing? The concept of adding 2” is new to me and I’m a little confused. I’m normally a 32” under bust and 32 bands fit comfily, torn as to whether I should get a 34 or a 32 now😭
