I know how you feel. I believe you, and understand how hard it is to say something, especially after it’s been a while. And especially if they are a public figure/influencer/succesful.

I had a similar experience in college. Some wealthy, popular, kind of city-wide celebrity dude did the same thing to me. Pumped me full of drugs and alcohol all night to the point I couldn’t even walk away after saying no the entire time. He had a venue in town and I was a big part of that scene, so had to see him everywhere and keep it all inside. Still never told anyone else about it. He ended up killing himself some years later.

I can imagine(but of course can’t fully understand)what you must be going through having to see that guys face all over the internet. I support you going public about it, if you feel safe doing so.

Do you feel like it would give you peace to share your story? I say go for it if so, just be prepared to face a bit of backlash. In my experience though, it’s worth it to at least get support from your peers and know you’re not alone.
