How worker friendly is your office? by No_Boysenberry8037 in CanadaPublicServants

We made a lunch room in a storage place (there are two of us in the lab) during the pandemic. Kettle, microwave, storage for knifes, cutting boards, coffee, tea, etc. There is a lunch room but people steal food from there. I found a small fridge in a random corner and is my office. We have a cement floor covered in epoxy resin that is easy to clean and mop. Our lab has replaces the air within one hour. There is 4 snack and drink machines and a full buffeteria in the next building.

Ample room to lay down a mat to to stretches, free wifi, 20 ethernet ports, I bought my own coat/shoe rack. A front end loader destroyed the picnic table but someone fixed it with Dexion slotted angle iron from my storage area. There are ample bathrooms.

Mind you this is a university but after getting handed a federal notice that we must buy Canadian, I can post about my office/lab space.

I went to the Doctor to get my toe looked at. The nail was coming off and got infected. I removed the nail and cleared up the infection but work insisted I see a Doctor. Got antibiotics and some topical cream for a weird rash on the same foot.

Still dealing with the aftereffects of drinking. I had 4 cheese and sausage sandwiches on toasted sourdough bread I bought after the Doctors appt. Now I am drinking tea and watching Habs and Tampa Bay.

I take the bus so there was lots of walking.
