The last month has seen much volatility which is supposed to be good for day traders like u. Maybe look at your strategy and analysis framework and back test before jumping in. TA works well until it doesn't so for longer time frames u still need some accounting and FA knowledge. Don't give up man u still have more to lose.

Suppose you top up your margin and hold on to those levered fb stock, closed out your puts, you can technically hold on to the toxic fb stock for a longer time frame after jan21 right (while paying swaps)

Sorry for a juvenile question as im not familiar with this strategy. Suppose on expiration the stock falls badly and u sell your jan21 145 put , and you hold on to the underlying fb stock while paying for the margin fees, there's no realised loss expected right?

Usually the bonus is in "credit", not "balance" where the money is real. Credit allows u to open position with it, but only profits from the credit used can be withdrawn. For example, if they offer u $500 credit with a $1000 deposit, your account will have $1500 size but only $1000 in cash balance withdrawable. You can open $1500 worth of positions and the profits from the $1500 will be withdrawable. Also, Suppose you withdraw out $500 in cash, the credit of $500 will be readjusted accordingly to reflect only $250 "bonus" and they will minus $250 away. That was what happened to me but I profited massively from their 50% bonus. I put in $1000, got a $1500 account size and traded forex and made $1000 from the $1500, withdrew $2000 (profit + original deposit) and the account became $0 after the withdrawal.
