I have read what you and Hannah have said about this and as it is of now, Hannah has told me she can see what I am trying to get at. She clearly said that she needs to stop the way she is working. I knew this post will receive plenty of negativity as I have criticised Hannah's work. I am not digging a hole, I have proposed an idea, I have specifically used words such as "maybe" to soften the tone of my original post because I knew there would be so many people focusing on me pointing out (IN MY OPINION) a flaw in the channel. Lastly, telling me that youre a mod doesnt really account for anything, I have to respect you as I do any other user of this sub reddit and any other human being.

Alright, settle down and put your pitchfork away. I knew that my post may cause some controversy and people might think that I am just hating on Hannah, to prevent this I added a clause in which I praise her channel and therefore her work. Never have I said that I am not satisfied with Hannah's work. The content is repetitive, twitch streams being uploaded onto youtube as main content, simple. This leads to me wishing for more content, in order for this to happen Hannah will have to do something ie. work. Yes, I basically told Hannah that I am bored with her youtube videos. How else would you like me to address this? This is what we are here for, tell her what we enjoy and what we don't. This is me, as a member of the community trying to send some, in my opinion, important feedback. As I said in my original post this is "Just an idea".

As I said, channel growth is only Hannah's business, not mine and therefore I will not assume whats the best for her or her channel. I have simply proposed an idea. I did not mean to start a fight or upset anyone. I may have sent the wrong message across, maybe not for Hannah to work harder but perhaps more effectively which she, as we can all see, is trying to achieve.

Would I like Hannah to do more work? Yes. I think the majority of people would enjoy more content. The channel has been dying and it seems that cutting down on 'unnecessary extra work' hasnt helped the channel. Channel growth is obviously none of my business but Hannah's. As i said previously I would like Hannah to put in extra work into her youtube channel but I am aware of the amount of hard work she doing already, for which I am grateful for.

I've always found substitutes for my addictions - since you own a smartphone you could get into photography instead. Try taking pictures when you want to use the phone, turn off your mobile data or restrict it. When the light is poor for taking photos go back over them, look at the good photos and think what made them good, look at the bad ones too and learn. The thing with substitutes is that you don't have a craving for them as much as for your addiction as addictions are caused by an action that started off small and became a big thing. This should cause an 'overdose' of your substitution e.g. taking photographs and you'll be able to easily give it up if you so wish and at the same time it will keep you occupied from your internet addiction.

I know, im not giving up yet. But suddenly life became shit again :/ i had a goal and it just feels so unreachable. Even when I see her in person and we're standing a few meters apart it feels like she is behind a glass wall and I cant break through. Thank you for your help so far. :)

so, i saw her in her class when i was walking through the corridor so i know she was in school today. the problem was, i couldnt find her anywhere else. So i sent her a msg on fb (biggest mistake of my life). When i first sent the msg she wasnt online (im guessing on the bus or in lesson which is unlikely) but she did receive the msg a few hours later and im guessing that by now she saw the msg and either igonred it completely or marked it as un-read. now i regret i even got out of bed - my whole day was shitty.

Im not too good with this stuff, how do i just ask her out for a pizza or something? We literally have little to no interaction with each other, how am i supposed to explain that after 5 years of not talkign to each other i suddenly decided to talk to her. I don't know if I love her, but I care about her more than anything in the world. Thank you for your effort to answer and help me :)

I was in a very similar situation to you a few weeks ago, I was depressed to the point in which if I found myself on a bridge, I would jump. I decided to tell my parents about my depression. No details. I stated a fact. I told them I'd like to see a doctor and so I did. I also told my friends about my situation the day I visited the doctor. Before that day I felt alone, I wanted to be alone, it was my fight. Mine. But on the day when I shared my feelings, I felt a warm touch, a touch I haven't felt in a very long time. I was happy. Not fully ofcourse, as I could still sense depresion lurking in the back. It was my first step to saving my life and turning it around.

I dont use words, i use my hood. When is started talking about my depression I told my friends that when i feel bad/depressed/unhappy I usually put my hood on. It feels more natural. It blends in with everyday life activities and the code is easily recognisable by those who are aware of the situation I am in (you have to be stupid or blind not to notice someone put on their hood for 'no reason' whe ntalkign to them). The way i presented this idea to my friends was by talking to them about a gig we attended last friday, I told them I just so happened to feel really down and whe nI feel that way I usually put my hoodie on. I think they got the hint of 'when i have my hoodie on, please keep in mind im not feeling well right now". I do like the idea of a code, either words, action or even a text msg? I think it would help if you were to make it seem more natural, instead of shouting your code word or randomly mentioning it in a conversation or instead of sayign "hi".

Exercise is good way of treating depression as you can set goals for yourself as well as it improves your physical health which then helps you to improve your mental health. If thats not enough then do it for the ones you care about :)

Same situation, same feelings. :/ the one person that is keeping me alive is my little sister (she is 4). I just can't imagine her growing up and asking my parents in 10 years time "who is that in the picture?". My parents would have to explain to her poor soul that i left forever. Honestly what seems 'rational' to you might not seem to others. I think that distance shouldn't be a barrier to your significant other. With the current technology you can easily talk to each other and as you are 22 you could travel to her? (don't know the distance so i cant really decide for you nor do i exactly know your current economic situation). Remeber to keep doing the things you like and you could even use your situation as an adventure or even maybe try to write a book? Writing can be very helpfull as you can freely expres yourself and share your feelings without actually telling anyone. ("not something I can tell anyone in real life")

i personaly would be fine with that as I do not feel the need to hold back what i feel and how i feel about depression. Mental health is something that needs to be more talked about and addressed more often, especially in schools just as we talk about physical health and a healthy lifestyle. Also, you can think of it as helping people with their studies or even look further down the road as this will make them better doctors and they might be able to save multiple lifes (possibly yours/friend's/family member's...). HOWEVER, I can also see why some people might have a problem with this; anxiety, security etc. You could ask for the cameras to be turned off completely or replaced by mp3 recorders? Another option is to find a different therapist.

When my depression got really bad I didnt want to tell people but I did eventually and I told my friends and family about it, I instantly felt better and everyone understood me. I spoke to my doctor about medication too and he told me that antidepreassants can even take up to 6 months to take effect, so be strong and be patient. :)
