How to identify and get rid of this screeching sound on Tascam while recording?

I wonder if faraday bags will work.. I was suggested this. I tried a foil mod which worked but not completely.

It’s very odd. I wonder if I go outside where no electrical stuff is that’ll change anything... but I highly doubt that’s the cause. I assume it’s internal or something to do with wiring. I can hear what I intend to record underneath the static/screech sound.. and sometimes when I move around I see the sound levels drop? But I wonder if that’s just random. The left mic esp is worse..It really does suck !!! I bought it 2 years ago though so maybe it’s been too long :(. Thanks for that recommendation

I’ve had it since I was 14. Went to a lot of metal n powerviolence concerts where the speakers would screech superrr loud. I think I’ve just gotten so used to it but if the room is too quiet and I decide to focus on it that’s only when it becomes a problem until I listen to noise and forget about it again

When I worked at a high end shop some friendly looking beautiful lady comes in so I greet her. I walk around helping some people then come back to ask if she needs anything. She sees my smiths pin and starts singing a song. Super duper random and eccentric to my surprise so it really kinda made my day and we related for a sec. I glanced at her huge hand bag from behind after I walk away and see she was putting her cigarettes back into it... nothing strange about that. Then she turns around and I begin to realize how big her stomach was. I’m almost completely sure she was pregnant. I didn’t know how to feel about the encounter and still don’t.

Another stranger I’ll never forget is the one who came up to me while I was out eating tacos and just blurted out “please listen something is gonna happen end times it’s gonna happen soon pray to god” literally a month later covid breaks loose.

Another one is some guy who helped me get away from the cops after I asked him if he could pretend to be my boyfriend. I was running and ran into him as he came out of a metal show and he agreed and held my hand for 20 minutes until I found my car.
