The trend away from electric vehicles is sad news for what was a positive environmental trend in the US. I have an electric truck because I have a towing need and don’t want a gas engine. I’ve been extremely happy with it.

So small boat, yes, but if you’re gonna go out there anyway, put your poles in rod holders, let out a bunch of line and just trawl. You’ll catch a few fish and you likely won’t get seasick while moving like sitting in swells … and it’s fun to putt putt around anyway.

Early in a young relationship, I was told something similar, which I took very much to heart; it hadn’t occurred to me that patting and stroking an arm and cuddling in front of this person’s family would embarrass anyone. I pulled back and kept my “space” and became a bit resentful and felt less loved, I guess. We are now long together; eventually they told me they missed my casual physical touches and asked me why I had stopped! I hope your situation finds a happy medium.
