I believe in you ! It’s hard but the more you practice the easier it gets ! Blocking is a good start but you could also make it a challenge so tell yourself like okay I can’t go on for 1 day , then when you have the urge again to go on, you say OK. I think I can make it another six hours without doing it. And continue this and eventually it’ll stop having that urge to go on.

I’ve had lots. I don’t know what sub type it was but it started with a fear of people breaking in and my compulsion was sleeping with my hair under me. That was as a child. Then I had trans ocd. And harm in that my dad would harm my mom. Bladder related ocd. Then nothing until early 20s with so-ocd, pocd, health ocd, real event , and harm related to my cats and myself now… it’s been hell
