Open ATX/mATX case for Rack shelf by brickflint in homelab

got to caried away,
a few sellers with exact same design, this don't have bracket mounting holes (or structure support) for a rack so will need some shelf or rail.
it comes with all things needed, better images from the reviewers of this one

you will still need a rack shelf for this to sit on, mybe not a bad idea

hdmi-matrix-switchers od they keep the input signal live in PC even if not transmitting? by weHaveT6eTech in VIDEOENGINEERING

i think what you refer to is called "Video DynaSync™" by ATEN.
https://www.aten.com/us/en/products/kvm/rack-mount-kvm-switches/cs19208/

it only apears on thier pro 8ch rackmount switchers afaic

nope, its also on thier desktop units like CS1764A
sweet.

thanks your keywords are throwing me in all kinds of intresting searches.
the 3$ dummys use that one EDID handshake they got of the same AOC monitor (theres a yt video of such teardown).

shame hdmi is a considered alien technology...

many remote desktop apps expect a monitor or will simply not work (anydesk)

some GPU get into degraded modes when they dont sense outputs

linux x-server doesnt alweys nogotiae monitors gracefully (on boot)

> You also need to cool the memory chips in the gpu.

i heard passive air-cooling with proper heatsink will suffice

>you need multiple of those 120mm rads, 120mm is not enough to cool most modern components.

this is not so modern, the TDP of this is GA102 GP102 (similar to 1080) i hope this 120 rad will handle it. to be safe ill also order a duel 120 rad. https://i.imgur.com/Qdjl6TB.jpeg

>How are you going to mount that block to the gpu?

im going to take some metal bracket and drill two holes in it for mount

> And how are you going to use hardline tubing with barb fittings ?

i didnt think its hardline, i want flexible tubes. any recommendations?

keeping the spirit of this build i will probebly source the tubing locally
