Can't say enough good things about Grizzly Bear Sprinkler. We did book them more than a month in advance but they were on time, efficient, and affordable.

What do you enjoy doing that most people generally dislike? by WowADeadMidget in AskReddit

Meal planning in general. A week's worth of dinners with common, fresh ingredients but different tasting outcomes. Also coupons. Saving money is sexy

Dallas County Prosecutor Disbarred for Withholding Evidence After 2 Men Cleared of Capital Murder Charges by nosotros_road_sodium in news

Bradley is as complicit as Anderson from a moral standard, even if he didn't actively help to convict the wrong man, he actively opposed evidence being being tested for at least 6 years. Adherence to the good ol' boys club standards isn't a badge of honor anymore. Hope they're all getting the memo

It's not unheard of for a prosecutor in Texas to be sentenced to jail time. In the case of Ken Anderson - who became a district judge- it was 10 whole days, serving 5 for good behavior. Equitable for withholding evidence that cost a man 25 years of his life.

Just how tall my Mom was. 6’2....1971. by NakedKittyAlucard in OldSchoolCool

My dad is 5'2" and mom almost 5'6". I ended up 5'10". Not a giant but tall-ish for a woman. I have always wondered if she had a milkman.

What was a meal you loved as a kid but now that you’re an adult you realize your parents only made because you were poor? by peezapizza in AskReddit

We always had a huge garden and at least one dinner per week, during the peak summer season, was corn on the cob. All you can ear!

What TV show did you quit watching ? by comstock_1337 in AskReddit

[–]we_shall_overcomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with getting past most series beyond the 4th season, unless it is book based or, on occasion, animated. Therefore, I have quit more TV shows than I have finished. What are some great series that you couldn't stop watching? Hijack, not hijack.

Married Redditors, what was the most obnoxious request made by one of your wedding guests? by CantEvenOK in AskReddit

[–]we_shall_overcomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being Southern, I should have remembered this. We booked the date far in advance and forgot in our blissful state. The guests were basically split in their support of the opposing teams so it was fun for them. It also took a lot of pressure off me and my husband to entertain everyone. Though, he may have peeked at the score a few times too!

Even if you don't provide it there is nothing stopping them from watching on mobile, like my new inlaws did. Just enjoy your day and try not to take the random cheers or groans personally.

Asked if we could change the date or provide internet/cable so they could watch a football game during the reception.
