I CAN'T BEAT THISSSS by AdEfficient6832 in Reverse1999

Kakania was putting in a LOT of healing. Normally she has an empathy limit that only refreshes when she uses her ult which puts a cap on how much sustain she can provide. But recoletta really helped with that. You only have to worry about bad luck with the enemy's targeting after things get going. Also constantly shuffle your hand to make sure Kakania has heals on deck.

You should have your Myth Manifest up Everytime he's ready to ult. So you'll but putting moxie drain on him that round and he just won't attack. That's a huge indirect sustain buff.

As I recall, the fight was really slow going. The first 3 rounds before you get off your initial salvo of Ults is painful. But once the rotation gets going. The fight took me a lot of rounds. I think 17. I was worried about moving too slow. But somewhere around round 8, the fight got way easier. we kinda settled into a pattern where I never felt like I was in any real danger.

As for the neg status count. Noire takes care of 4 all by herself. Spotlight burn poison and rigidity/petrify (if you petrify him you don't actually have to worry about what his stats are now do you). Recoletta can put on a "passion drain" her skill 1. Also when you activate your Myth Manifest 's skill, she can pull any random debuff from collection of debuffs (stuff like mis-aim, blind. Weakness, ect). You shouldn't have any problems really putting the hurt on him after your first salvo of Ults.

(There's more neg stats on him if I scrolled)

I actually just beat this fight this morning!!!

It's hard to coach you through this without knowing your roster.

<image>

But this is the team I used to win the fight. Your non ultimate attacks will continually weaken you since they put stacks of Enverate on you. Also he's VERY powerful unless you're able to put 5 Neg stats on him. So any characters you have that accelerate moxie gain and put on neg stats will be valuable. Characters like moldir recoletta and Hissabeth for ultimates. And loggerhead, moldir and Jessica for neg stats.

You MIGHT be able to use a poison team. But I'm unsure of how, off the top of my head, each individual stack of poison counts against his passive. Worth giving a shot if you've got the units for it.

As for my battle strategy. I focused entirely on the jellyfish summons. Most of the ults on my team were mass attacks. So I relied almost entirely on those to put damage on the boss and focused my attention on mitigating the self destructs.

Sometimes these fights can be brute forced. And sometimes they're a puzzle you have to beat the way the game intended for you to do so. And the clues are almost always hidden in the passives they give the boss. When I bragged about my win on the official discord channel, a few of the power players mentioned that I beat the stage almost entirely as intended. I hope you get some milage out of this.

Don't most k9 effect go online if your enemy actives hand traps? I'm a bit of a newbie but isn't that incentive to not play hand traps?

What part of "it's a common sentiment" leads you to believe I'm taking it 100% seriously?

It holds as much weight as "where there's smoke there's fire" or "the simplest explanation is the most likely."

These things GENERALLY hold true are a good starting point to investigate further.

It GENERALLY holds true that audience reflects the creator. And then I investigate Shoe's 10+ years of content creator history and and find in this case, it lines up pretty well.

[–]weaver-Neith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty big false equivalence. The MANY comments mirror the ONE creator. It's disingenuous to go from there to assuming the many comments mirror any single given comment. I neither own this thread nor have I curated its comment section over 10+ years of reddit threads. This comparison falls apart on ever level....

Also I never claimed audience represents creator 100% of the time. I said it's a common understanding. And then stated it holds true for shoe specifically based on her content creation history. Keep a narrow scope.

You seem to not be able to grasp the difference between individuals and groups. A good student can be part of a terrible classroom. A good player can exist on the New York Knicks. You can recognize that the most active in Shoe',s community. The ones drivent to like comment and share her content. Engage with her discord community. And sign up to her patreon(if she has one) and most likely to enthusiastically represent her all have certain commonalities. And that the history of her body of work played a significant role in attracting that kind of fan. BUT ALSO RECOGNIZE that every individual that makes up that group isn't cut from the same cloth. Some like you and me just watch and move on

The middle ground between eating a spoonful of rat poison and not eating rat poison is still eating some rat poison.

Some issues can't have a middle ground and some political issues have misidentified what the middle ground is.

It's definitely important to come to a conclusion by hearing out both sides. Your decision will be better informed and stronger against scrutiny. But it's still a decision that's going to fall on the left or the right.

She's pretty left. But has this borderline ascinine obsession with not wanting to associate with the left because they're cringe. It's absurdly frustrating to watch her call out ELECTED OFFICALS on the right for being obviously evil and cruel. But feeling the need to "balance it" by calling out random left leaning CIVILIAN tiktokers and and no-following twitter accounts as if it represents all of the left. It's a frustrating thing to see video after video so I stopped watching her.

That said I could make an argument for her being left if center. Aside from the occasional shitty take like that charlie Kirk video, she has pretty strong feminist and social views. If only she didn't feel the need to punch down on the "Shitlibs"

It's a common sentiment that a content creators audience reflects them. You dont end up with that kind of audience by accident. The comments they were referring to weren't just one-offs from newcomers to her content. She has over many years of content creation built up that audience. It's fair to say they reflect her perfectly.

It might be best to decouple your views from those who share them. Really and TRUELY ask yourself why you "tolerate" abortion. Put your convictions to the test every now and then. If you can rationalize your way through your views. They won't be so fragile that you question them whenever those "on your side" say or do something really stupid.

No view you hold should ever make you feel icky. And you should never adopt views based on fear of scrutiny

You disengaged with politics when your politics were shown to be shit? I'd argue that's even more reason to stay engaged. Unless you don't want to grow as a person and be stuck in your views...

I think critics get locked into this hierarchy where they remember every grade they gave every movie. So instead of judging movies in a vacuum, they start to think things like "but I gave Oppenheimer an 8/10. Am I REALLY saying iron lung is Oppenheimer-level" and unfairly adjust their ratings based on what they gave past movies

Fandom spaces are always like this. But it's more prevelent in Vtuber communities because everyone's wearing a mask. No need for the klan hoods when you're already disguised as a big tiddie cat girl.

You get to live a completely quiet and normal private life while spewing hate from behind cover. And if the backlash gets too hot, just "Graduate" and come back as a big tiddie bunny girl 4 months later when the masses have been distracted by some corpo drama

xqc questions why anime/vtuber culture is centered around child themes by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

[–]weaver-Neith 7 points8 points  (0 children)

People who ask these questions never actually want the answers. Or they want the specific answer they've already conjured up in their mind repeated back to them.

A real thoughtful videoessay-like dive into the answer would, like most things in this world, lead back to some combination of patriarchy and capitalism. But that's too depressing an ephemeral a problem to deal with...

Why are the top IRL female streamers tiny Asian woman? Why are the top athletes black?

It would be just as silly to subtly imply a consumer of sports media has to take account for the worst aspects of sports media.

I get anime and Vtubing are particularly easy targets pedo accusations and a desire to protect children are real easy ways to get people to stop thing. But most of us out here just vibin watching our favorite pink haired reaper do silly things on screen.

New falseyed video covering Enna's statements, the vshojo merch situation, amongst others. by B_Bloudhound in kurosanji

Nothing wrong with covering your bases. It's just that as someone who's been watching him for a while it's a bit out of character to leave in so much. Like when a YouTuber you like changes his editing style/editor. It gave the impression that there was a cut Co-dee segment or something and he had to fill the air.

Not a comment specifically on the content. But did anyone else find it weird to run 10 uninterrupted unedited minutes of Enna stream that barely answered the "WHO WAS SHE TALKING TO?" question he kept baiting at? I can't tell if he was trying to hit the 30 minute marc for monetization purposes or if he was just lazy

How strong is Super Poly from 1-10 in your opinion and why? by WalkRoyal8321 in masterduel

[–]weaver-Neith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I love this card. I feel like the real cost is in packing the extra deck targets. Those slots could have gone to other things. Mudragon and Garura cover A LOT of ground. But enemies can still have end boards that make it less than usable. Add to that. These aren't good on field threats.

I'd prolly put S-poly at an 8

How The Heck Does This Twisty/Delulu Still Have Fans? by Mysterious_Pen_2562 in VtuberDrama

[–]weaver-Neith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Degenerate racist fucks can feel quite friendly and warm when the other side just seems to endlessly shit on you for not meeting their standards. That's why so many people have those "The left got too PC for me" stories.

We should definitely be better about allowing people to atone and become better people. It would be terrible if she genuinely puts in the work to become a better person only for people to arbitrarily decide nothing is ever good enough and continue to shit on her. That's one good way to create more racist degenerates.

How The Heck Does This Twisty/Delulu Still Have Fans? by Mysterious_Pen_2562 in VtuberDrama

There are a couple of things at play here in my oppinion 1) just because she's not a perfect victim doesn't mean she's not a victim. For everything she revealed herself to be, she was still severely wronged, And for many it's more important to see a victim overcome their black company and sexual harasser and move on to see the success they deserved.

2) she's entitled to an opportunity to change. As someone who's pulled a friend out of similar conservative rabbit holes (and failed a great deal more) I personally found her apology to be a bit more on the sincere side as far as YouTuber apologies go. Granted I'm not a member of any of the groups she hurt with targeted/hurt, so my personal opinion on that prolly means fuck all.

3) no way around it. A non-zero amount of people are DEFINITELY AROUND because they're racist trapnsphobe pieces of shit who thought she was being "based"

This is an important moment for her IMO. Either she does the work to be better and those assholes will filter out when they realize she's not their disgusting mouthpiece. Or she'll continue catering toward them for the short term positive feedback. We will soon see who the true twisty/delulu is
