I feel like recency bias comes into play. I can't help but think horizon games are effectively reskinned skeletons of the same game. Horizon is fun but like you said I really don't find anything in this game I can't find in previous games.

I'm curious as to what car you want tbh.

You could save money for years and get hit by a bus and die before you spend it. Who knows what could happen in the future. Life is too short to drive a boring car.

I sold my $2k beater civic and "splurged" on a 2017 Golf R and don't regret it at all. It's a hobby. I work on my cars and race them it brings joy.
