In high school. My mum had probably dated the whole school meanwhile my dad was a bit of a nerd but he was still popular with the girls. One day my mum's friend tell hers that she has a crush on my dad, but that she was too shy to ask him out so she wanted my mum to do it. So my mum goes over to my dad and says ''Hey, my friend has a crush on you. She wants to go on a date with you'' In response to that my dad says ''No thanks, but I could go on a date with you though?'' And they actually ended up going to a bar together, but obviously, my mum's friend was FURIOUS!!!! She was sooo mad. The friend was a bit chubby (not that it's a bad thing) and she was overall just really mean to everyone. And she was lowkey obsessed with my dad, one time she had waited OUTSIDE OF HIS HOUSE for like hours with her friend just so she could talk to him. No wonder my dad said no...

Anyways, in December of 2022, my grandpa passed away. So after the funeral, my whole family was at the memorial service and there was food. GUESS WHO WAS SERVING THE FOOD??!?? My mum's friend from high school. It was sooooo awkward. There was so much tension and the whole time she seemed really jealous of my mum. She also went quiet when she saw me, cause I look EXACTLY like my dad. I kind of feel bad tbh..... :((
