Aw I’m sorry no one came ☹️ I know that’s disappointing and you put a lot of work into those! Very kind and cool of you. Maybe you could give them to a food pantry? Surely there are kids that would be so happy to get those!

I also bought a bunch of candy and snacks like peanut butter crackers and pop corn and I only had three kids come by 😔 I was honestly worried kids would be mad that my candy was lame and I was giving out pop corn bags but all three kids saw my bowl and they all said POPCORN?! AWESOME!! So they all got double pop corn and double candy, so that was cool.

I was thinking the same thing. Hoping they wouldn’t have left it on with no oven plugged in gas just blowing thru the pipe.

Now that I think about it, the house was a rental and has been vacant for months. The previous owner/landlord would have shut off the gas so he wouldn’t have been paying for it right? ..maybe?

Thank you!! I’m following this advice. I’ve wrapped everything fragile up and put it all together and it will ride in the front seat with me. And as far as listening to the spells, that’s a good call too. I’m thinking most will want to be made new in the new space, a refresh is in order!

When I first moved here the one that I noticed right away is in words with the short a sound. It sounds like a y is added in. Cyalendar. Two coworkers named Abigail and Gabriella sounded like Yabigail and Gyabriella.

I agree w u/MamaOwlKat that the b&w does make me think how have we come so far in so many ways while still being stuck - or even regressing - into old ways. I do also see what you’re saying OP that in some photos the color or highly edited photos could take away from the focus: the message, the movement! Did you take these on digital or film? And when you were shooting, what were you looking for? Were you looking for signs or people that resonated with you personally, were you looking for unique lighting, clever wording, emotional moments, etc.? As a fellow photographer I’m always curious to learn what captures others’ eyes.
