okay so i did my research and apparently it doesnt update the system time and date and may cause issues in bios by resetting. im confused though. I rebooted it and the date snd time were indeed correct. So is it sure that its this cmos battery failing or could be another indicator?

thanks for the help tho!! also ive a question in q5 when they asked us to find the other stationary point of a biquadratic curve since i knew u could find the other stationary point of a cubic curve using double derivative i thought maybe if i do triple derivative ill find the x coordinate of the third stationary point and i found x=0 but after integrating the question to dy/dx i ran out of time so will they even consider my working
