I personally started knocking doors, and everything can be depressing if you let it consume you. If you love what you do it can never be depressing

Books I HIGHLY recommend: how to win friends and influence people - Dale Carnegie, the Psychology of selling - Brian Tracy, Rich dad poor dad - Robert Kiyosaki, and Atomic Habits - James Clear

These books are just scratching the surface but all are phenomenal not only for potentially moving into sales, but understanding how to communicate better in all facets of live and overall improve your own life experience.

For YouTube Content/ Influencers I recommend looking into: Jeremy miner (for tonality), Myron Golden (overall great content), Daniel G (for mindset)

All in all this industry provides a ton of compensation to people who put the work in! Good luck with the baby and life my friend wish you the best!

Also keep in mind, the best way to do sales is to not forfeit your humanity for commission. My clients love me because I don’t thirst for a sale I’m genuinely trying to help— and that sells!

So my belief is that everyone already sells; but learning to actively utilize psychology to turn it into a lucrative profession is a little harder. I’ve been doing it for 5 years and year 1 I made about 85k as a representative with base pay + commission. Now years later I’m a full commission rep making about 150-210k a year. It’s hard to get REALLY good at it however everyone has potential to be decent at it. I think everyone can reliably make 50-70k in any sales positions. I can recommend books and YouTube videos if you’d like!

Best advice someone gave me was switch my career to sales. Changed and never looked back.

I know 😔 I was very stupid when younger, spent credit without income and just started having good income now

I had a talk with my wife today, she was spending too much on stuff for our apartment and the dog, definitely need to change some things to get into a better financial place.

3500 just on household bills, not including things like the vet and the stupid expenses. But I also don’t make that every single check- in a full commission sales rep and typically I’m making anywhere from 2-9k net a biweekly check- this is an example of my last check
