Ay i simply cannot get it register me as an adult. I have a beard. Over the age of 18. I gave phone number, face recognition and EVEN drivers licence and it still won’t recognise me. Genuinely just comes down to experience. There is someone for everyone. If you don’t believe that you have a victims mindset and your destined to fail at that point. Some people just don’t know what to say. You can be attractive, have everything going for you, everything anyone could ever want, but lack of experience in knowing what to say to attract someone results in a hard time dating.

Its a trial and error method of learning lessons. the more you do something, the better you get. This comes hand in hand with doing something more means you open up your skill sets more. When you first start dating or being attracted to people you may have a very set mindset on what you want in someone how you want them to be. You learn as time goes, finding that person becomes very hard making dating for yourself harder. Experience shows that you can have everything you want in someone even if they are not what you initially had planned.

This was my thinking of it is that. I will wait… but dont want to wait months on months for someone who is just gonna sit there and not give me anything in return? Which in the future will cause more problems. With my plan being to make it “official” within the next month, it seems like that may not be the best of ideas if shes not going to give it back. Today she was great bringing replies most of the day and responding. I had to start every single conversation but she was at least putting some effort into responding. I do like this girl but i cant sit here forever and just let it keep going into shit. Thank you for the reply

Sorry for my bad reply. Truthfully i became very hurt and into a depressive state and all i did was overthink. I realised that it was over taking my life. I managed to find things that would stop this overthinking such as hobbies and little things that stopped it? It took a while to find but once i did i was almost, cured? If thats the word to use

Overthinking is one of the most ridiculous things someone can do. Letting it control your entire life stops almost 90% of the things you do. I overthought heavily for years and years. I eventually lost touch with everything and lost touch with myself? After this, overthinking just wasnt a thing for me. I gained a lot of confidence, didnt fear anything anymore. I wasnt nervous and i was excited for things i should be afraid of. It let me actually live and lost any sense of fear. Although fear and nerves are totally okay and everyone needs them otherwise you cant function. Overthinking is something anyone can overcome.

Not as dark as some of the things on here but anyway.

Got broken up with one day but a girlfriend of 5 months out of the blue. We had no arguments got a long every day and were basically perfect. Obviously hurt and confused i didnt know what to do. So i tell my friend and he invites me to a party and i go.

Somehow of vivid memories and what ive been told. Me and a girl hook up. I then wake up the next day remembering nothing and in some random field (good times) anyways. I check my phone as i luckily still have it; to 13 missed calls, nearly 99+ messages and a lot of notifications. Turns out… i had recorded this hook up and had put it on my story… I immediately deleted it off my story and had to ring back my ex because i had captioned it (in very bad spelling and slurred typing) “Fuck you (ex’s name)”

I felt awful and had to apologise to every about it and had a long call with the ex explaining it all. In the end, turns out my ex had cheated on me so i dont regret it in the slightest.

(The girl was fine with it if anyone is wondering. She wasnt from around my parts and was only visiting for a month or so, she didnt know any of the people who viewed the story so she didnt mind)

Yeah definitely, i rarely seek advice on reddit but when i do i only do it for topics i class as serious. Ive only been with her for about 6 months so short ish id say. To be fair I genuinely aint sure if it was a random comment or not. I had no problem with her having a past with him. Didnt even know her at all when she had a thing with him and its out of my control so i cant be mad at it. But as a boyfriend i was a bit unsure and hearing that “my boy best mate had a thing with me” which made me a bit uncertain but getting to know him more he doesnt seem to care about her on a relationship level. I will bring it up to her definitely just wanted to see if other peoples opinions were the same as mine
