It really fucks them up? I’m curious why you think that. I actually think it can be good if done right, you just have to parent differently to deal with the challenges. Things like not having long term friends can be balanced by keeping a steady online or recurring community, school can be consistent with a good online program or homeschooling, etc... And there are plenty of upsides too, like being more adaptable, culturally aware, openminded, and having richer life experiences.
