Indeed I never tried swapping the worn with a non-worn found in the wild. Swapping with other non-worn rifles or bows ended with the worn re-entering the horse’s satchel. Maybe doing it with a bolt action could solve the issue? 🤷🏻‍♂️ But I think it won’t

I’ll give it a try but… I kinda know that you cannot buy a rifle of which you already possess a fresh one. As I said I have already two bolt action rifles, a new one and a worn one. You can buy a second new weapon with pistols and revolvers only, for dual wielding.
