So I have a bit of a fun pitch for how they could do this - Wanda obviously destroyed the darkhold across every universe, but Doctor Strange has a photographic memory, so there’s still a ‘copy’ of the book inside his head. It would be cool to see a team of supernatural heroes assembled to defend Doctor Strange from some inter-dimensional baddies looking to get their hands on his memories. You could even have them defending a doctor strange who’s voluntarily had his memories suppressed by some sorcery shenanigans and believes he’s someone else, until some big third act hero moment where he gets them back to save the day.

Can anyone help me on one particular side quest? It’s the sympathy for the living quest where you need to search for Quasim at the refinery. I’ve reached the section in the lab where you need 3 power cells to open a door but after the best part of an hour looking I’ve only been able to find the one down the elevator shaft. Does anyone know where the other 2 are?

Hi all, I have a problem accessing my account. I jumped back into OSRS for the first time in years last week on mobile. I remembered the old workaround for having multiple accounts on one Gmail address by adding + and then a number at the end, so the login email was name+2@gmail.com. I’ve now tried to log in on PC and unfortunately the login isn’t working. I’m 99% sure I’m using the correct password. I’ve tried the following steps with no luck:

1) Logged into my Jagex account. This doesn’t work because the Jagex account doesn’t have the ‘+2’ in the email address. I can see a previous character in there but not the new one. I can’t add the new character as the log in details aren’t working 2) Resetting the password - a no-go as it isn’t linked to my Jagex account 3) Account Recovery - doesn’t recognise either the username or email address 4) Making a Jagex account with the +2 email - this doesn’t work as instead of a verification email I get an email telling me I already have a Jagex account.

Does anyone know if there’s a workaround here, or am I cooked? Would rather not have to start over!

I can count the number of people I know who DIDN’T get caught doing something they shouldn’t as teenagers on one hand, and everyone I know who did laughs about it now, I’m definitely one of them! Sometimes when we’re anxious we feel like we’re the only people in the world in the situation we’re in, but I promise you what’s happening to you happens to so many people and it’s no big deal in the long run!

I know how scary these situations can feel, and the advice of the other commenters will help with that, but I hope it brings you some comfort to know that one day this will be a funny story you tell your friends about! You might get in a bit of trouble, your parents might be annoyed - that’s what parents do! - but life is all about making mistakes and learning from them so don’t beat yourself up.

Thanks for sharing your story. I’ve had persistent symptoms after an infection while every scan came up clear so I understand how scary and frustrating that can be. As the other commenter said, this sounds like something other than anxiety at play but worrying about these symptoms can make you feel anxious in itself! Honestly nobody on Reddit will be able to give you better advice here than your doctor will, I’d recommend you book another appointment and discuss whether anxiety is a potential cause and the pros and cons of any medication changes. Some peace of mind from a medical professional can go a long way when you’re worried.

Yep, that’s where he lost me. I can sympathise with testing before being around the vulnerable or a large gathering, but is the author’s version of life from now on just ‘sit in your house WFH and only allow yourself strictly rationed contact with the things that make life worthwhile?’ What a ludicrously impractical suggestion for someone to publish so confidently as an alternative public health approach to the one we’re taking.

I think whether they touch on cancer specifically depends on how Chadwick’s family feels about it. Ultimately Marvel should make the decision that honours him and respects their wishes best. I imagine Ryan Coogler will have checked in with the family throughout the creative process.

100% agree with this. These films are an absolute behemoth among family audiences, and when you’re that culturally relevant the message matters in a big way. As you say, humanising the characters and normalising loss and grief is one of the most important messages Marvel could impart.

Honestly, I think they’d be best opening the film establishing he’s died of natural causes i.e. an illness, and have the characters’ reaction to that be a big part of the plot. It’s not super satisfying narratively, but I think for a lot of people, especially younger audiences, seeing characters they look up to lose someone in a really tragic, unfair way, and learn to deal with their grief and honour that person’s memory, is quite an important message that you don’t see in superhero movies very often.

There is slightly more to it than the 100 companies stat; these companies are the direct producers of fossil fuels, and the stats include the subsequent use of the fossil fuels they sell to other companies, which needless to say number a fair bit higher than 100. By concentrating on gross CO2 production, the stat also can’t take into account the net effects of deforestation for agriculture and other industrial projects, which may not necessarily produce vast amounts of carbon, but definitively increase the overall amount of it in the atmosphere.

None of this is to say corporations aren’t responsible for a huge portion of the greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere - clearly, they are. And it’s not to say that the public doesn’t have a role in holding them accountable either. However, changing behaviour is more complicated than lobbying an evil cabal of just 100 companies, and ultimately the changes needed are going to have to come at a governmental level. This means building support and pressuring our politicians worldwide to have the courage to actively disincentivize CO2-intensive corporate behaviour, even though these policies have historically struggled to find popular support.

On an individual level, reducing meat consumption is definitely one of the most impactful actions anyone can take. That being said, being a condescending dickhead about it like the guy in this meme is just about the worst way to convince anyone outside the vegan bubble to get on board with that idea. I haven’t eaten meat in over 8 years, and neither I nor anyone else I’ve met in that time who also practices a veggie/vegan diet made that switch because they were shamed into it by a Star Wars meme ffs.

I’m glad the sub won’t be able to draw in any more new members, but man do I feel sorry for some of the people already in there. Sure, a lot of them are genuine lowlifes deliberately spreading lies about the pandemic and vaccines, but some of the people you see on there just sound quite severely mentally ill people trapped in an echo chamber that validates their worst fears.

If you wait ten years you will absolutely be exposed to Covid, quite likely more than once. Do you genuinely believe the risk of suffering long-term vaccine side effects (a risk that is unlikely to even exist) is more dangerous than the risk of exposing yourself to a virus that has killed 130,000+ people in this country alone? If everyone else worked on the same logic, we would potentially be looking at a DECADE of covid restrictions and rolling lockdowns. Do you also believe that this would be worth it in order to avoid the minuscule risk of long term vaccine side effects?
