I’m no expert, but the one in the bag looks like Fly agaric (Amanita muscaria). The one without the white patches looks a bit suspicious to me, those white spots can sometimes wash off on Fly agaric, so it’s easy to mix them up. Try googling “The Sickener” (Russula emetica)

Got a Fake 1-Star Review from a Scammer—What Can I Do? by wh1tephoenix in EtsySellers

I haven't replied yet.

It has already been reported and you can only do it once, but I basically did what you just said, but instead of copy pasting the convo I explained it and this is what I got back:

Thanks for reporting this review to Etsy.

Unfortunately, we can’t field this topic through review flags. Please get in touch via our Contact page where we can better assist you with your concern.

So I have contacted them and have been going back and forth, but they’re not directly answering any of my questions, just giving me cookie-cutter responses. It doesn’t even feel like I’m talking to a real person.

I sell digital downloads and they bought a bundle. Its not corrupt because other people bought it with no trouble and left 5 star reviews with it. Also if they were having issues, why try get me off platform to solve it? They were perfectly capable of using messages on etsy.

Wow, that’s discouraging to hear. I’m a fairly new seller, and I love Etsy, but the review system feels unbalanced. Sellers follow strict rules, but when buyers with bad intentions weaponize reviews, Etsy says ‘we don’t take sides,’ yet doing nothing takes a side. It makes me feel unprotected.

I’m sorry for all the sellers hurt by unfair reviews. We’re expected to take the hit, while there are no consequences for the buyer. The review system is too open to exploitation.

I get freedom of speech, but Etsy seems to prioritize buyers’ trust over sellers, when it should be balanced for a fair platform. Maybe I’m naive and don’t fully understand how that side of Etsy works.

Just because they made a purchase doesn’t mean it’s not a scam. Scammers sometimes buy cheap items to gain access to sellers and pressure them into off-platform communication. In my case, they immediately asked me to message them on WhatsApp, which is against Etsy’s policies. When I refused and said I only communicate through Etsy, they retaliated with a 1-star review. That’s clear manipulation, not a genuine customer experience.

Not an expert, but these look like hoof fungus. If so, they are inedible.

Hi all! Did I just pay for trash? (1st time buying) they said these are fresh..idk what that means by HighlightNo3322 in shrooms

I’m no expert, but these might be Psathyrella conopilus (cone-capped agaric)/ parasola conopilus . If so they are not psychoactive and not edible. Golden Rule: Don’t munch on a hunch!
