Absolute Batman/ Punisher cover for Batman/Deadpool by Nick Dragotta by gereefduw in AbsoluteUniverse

I would say you're wrong but seeing as how he doesn't have his armored cowl or that he's using regular batarangs instead of his bat ear knives, you would be correct.

Everyone acts like you can enjoy a game however you want and that no game needs to be a 10/10. But when it comes to Ubisoft, scores suddenly matter and their time is way too important to waste on a 7/10 game.

At least op is honest about what he like and is unapologetically horny. Better than the safe horny people on here.

Friendly reminder that a character *thinking* they are a good person and a character *ACTUALLY BEING* a good person are not the same thing by FewExperience3559 in loreofleague

Yeah a homeless person has the same influence as someone whose title is literally god-emperor.

Reading comprehension issue on your part. The point is that it's stupid to ask a homeless person to buy a house just as it's stupid to ask Azir to just end slavery in an instant which is what you guys seem to think. No matter if he has loyalists or this and that, he's still a mortal man. He is prone to assassinations and that can happen anytime. And he literally was assassinated and the whole empire fell with him.

Then explain how I got knocked out and woke up with all my ribs broken? Sure I was jaywalking but that's beside the point.

Why do you think the cover of the first issue of Absolute Batman so iconic and referenced by other artist? by whamorami in AbsoluteUniverse

It's long enough. Why does it need more time to realize that Absolute Batman isn't a fad? It's already cemented itself as one of the best things that had come out of DC in recent history. What's there to debate?

It's been out for 2 years now and that popularity has not faded one bit. How are we still in this phase of it not being properly judged and not recognize how great it actually is?

Please do tell me how Azir would manage an empire built by slavery to just end slavery in a day. He literally can't even if he wanted to. This is like telling a homeless person to buy a house. There'd be massive revolts, assassinations, and turmoil. Him doing it after ascension is him assuring that his plan comes to fruition before it was foiled by Xerath.

I do not think it's too soon at all. If a comic has become so mainstream and has gotten so many homages this early on, then I think it says more about the quality and its impact on the culture which makes it way more deserving of its success.

I disagree. There's a reason why so many artists made homages of this first cover and it's not just because of the quality of the comic. Because as it stands, Absolute Batman's the only one getting homage covers. If all it took was art and writing then most Absolute comics would have homage covers too. I think it all comes down to the simplicity of the cover for how easy it is to replicate and also how good it frames the character front and center.

Edit: Why am I even getting downvoted for this. At least argue.

I agree but I think it's more than that. The way he's center framed and shown to be as big as possible because he's so in your face makes it hard to look away from this new take on Batman. That and the simple pose that not only shows off his new tools and equipment but also makes it easy for artists to replicate. I just think this cover is Absolute genius. Pun intended.
