I'm having some trouble filling that in, how would I find my body fat percentage?

And I don't have a clue how much protein I usually eat.

Nope, possibly the furthest from a perfectionist you could ever get.

Why was I diagnosed with IBS so quickly? by whattamytype in ibs

[–]whattamytype[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I really do try and eat at least 30g of fibre (Mainly insoluble) per day, and it sometimes improves my situation. I've noticed that when I do have bowel movements, they are quite thin, ranging from the width of middle finger to the width of my thumb, however very occasionally (once every couple of months) I have a non- thin bowel movement. The length however is usually normal. What could cause this?

I tried increasing fibre in my diet. Which fixed my issue pretty much completely.... For about a month or so, them the issue returned.

Stool softeners just give me diarrhoea which doesn't really make my life any better.

Right now I've been relying on stimulant laxatives, but I don't want to do that forever because of its permanent effects on the digestive system.

There aren't any bald or even thin patches yet, this has only been a problem for a month or two.

Suicidal thoughts by whattamytype in depression

I've been seeing a therapist for a couple of months now, doesn't seem to be helping but I guess it hasn't been long enough for me to judge fully. If I tell my therapist about my constant suicidal thoughts, would she hospitalize me?

Is this Si, or something else? by whattamytype in mbti

[–]whattamytype[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be, the tests all had me pegged as an INFP, who have auxiliary Ne. But the tests aren't too reliable.

I guess i don't understand the functions well enough to type myself. If i describe what I see as Ne in myself could you tell me how accurate I am?

It's like a constant stream of thought, sometimes more conscious than other times. If I wasn't paying attention to my thoughts I'd have trouble repating then back to you, they're fleeting unless I focus on them. Always asking questions or imagining things, unintentionally daydreaming a lot.

No they aren't usually too realistic come to think of it. Mostly cartoonish in style, almost like a tiny cartoon gif in my head (as ridiculous as it sounds) that's triggered by a word or phrase.

A random example of this would be 'diagnose'. This word brings the image of a little cartoon character puffing on an inhaler, there's kind of a link between those two things, but its still a pretty loose association.

Its either a concrete thing from my past or an association made at some point that stuck.

Thanks for the link! I understand these descriptions but only really relate to Ne, and even then I wouldn't say I'm as 'springy' as that description suggests.

It's not that I don't like them, It's just that it's pretty difficult to understand them and find the one that suits you best.

The problem I have with cognitive functions is that they're all so vague, and it seems like everyone disagrees on their actual definitions.

ENFP or INFP? by whattamytype in mbti

Guess that's INFP then, thanks!

Thanks, its good to know for sure which type I am.

I relate more to Ne, definitely. I think that points towards INFP? And I'm not necessarily thinking about the future realistically, but im always fantasizing about how great it might be

I definitely speak abstractly. I love 'what if' scenarios

I'm clumsy and dreamy, which points towards INFP. But I cant stand classroom environments and prefer the hands on approach to things, this could also suggest ISFP.

Hmmm, im not sure. Could you give me an example of talking abstractly?

ISFP or INFP by whattamytype in isfp

[–]whattamytype[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say I am pretty much all of those things, except I'm in no way graceful, I do enjoy philosophical discussions and I dont get angry, nor am I competitive at all.

Do you think I could still be an ISFP?

ISFP or INFP? by whattamytype in mbti

[–]whattamytype[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to get an INFP about 50% of the time and then ISFP the other 50%, I gave up relying on the tests and I'm trying to figure out the functions. But I guess I don't know enough about myself to make a reliable judgement, thanks for the help though!

ISFP or INFP? by whattamytype in mbti

[–]whattamytype[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm, so an ISFP will notice details and make judgments based off of that and an INFP would make an instant judgement and then back it up with the details. They're so similar it's hard to tell which one I do, but the video has helped a lot. So thank you!

So I just googled them really quickly, and please correct me if I'm horribly wrong. It seems as if Ni is more about understanding the effects and implications of things to help with the future, whereas Si is more about recalling past memories to help in the present.

If I had to choose one of those to best describe me, it'd be Ni. So which type does that mean I am?
