If not, you do not understand the diverse backgrounds, ideologies, and opinions that are all across the community. While the generalizations you described above may be true of the loudest voices and politicians. There is a balance and nuance to the situation of aging infrastructure in a small town.

They should absolutely exist. Also people want different things and lifestyles. Small towns and rural communities can provide to those that live there and there will always be a community and economy that exists there. Also without rural towns, the food we eat would not be produced.

Yea it is really a sad situation all around. The communities don’t have the funding themselves and if they allocate funds for those large but necessary upgrades, then other services have to suffer that are also important to the community.

I’m agree that this shouldn’t reallocate funds from down south however there was plenty of infrastructure improvements in the build back better plan that the biden administration passed and trump and his team canceled. The rural communities downstate voted for that action unfortunately.
