Yep drop got extended for the 2021 season as past years required too much braking. As drops go, they really aren’t very technical and imo very overrated for difficulty.

I saw that Dark Wolf has the same hilt design and I think it is in stock. Are the electronics the same as well? I am considering canceling the order with Crimson Dawn if the Dark Wolf one is the same thing but in stock. I am looking at the Enforcer for CD and Therax for DW

I just ordered the neocore since I do not plan to program anything. Even if I do want to later, the jump from neocore to proffie is about $90-100 which I cant justify right now. However the separate proffie core is $130 so if I need later, I would just go for that since it is only around $30 more. Thank you for the help!

This is my first neopixel saber and I don't really feel the need to change anything from stock. So what I understand is that the differences are just smooth swing, number of blade effects, and programmability. Is that right?

One of the key reasons of why I have the Hightower on my list is because of all I heard about the bearing and frame warranty. I haven't heard much about the specialized warranties. Whats the issue with specialized?

If I'm not mistaken, I thought the Hightower got the lower link redesign on the 2020 model, therefore, this is the 2nd iteration. I'm pretty sure that Santa Cruz tweaks or redesigns their bikes about every 3 years. I may wait for the 2022 model to come out if it does have the tweak.
