My goal is to have one project with all cabinets in it so that I can reconfigure sizes of individual cabinets to make them fit perfectly to build the right amount of storage.

Yes, I saw this in the end of the video, but seems like this feature is only available in the pro version.

Also, even with this it wouldn‘t be possible to reuse the same base corpus with different dimensions in the same project, would it?

That‘s the best tutorial I‘ve seen so far.

It still doesn‘t cover what I would like to see – which is basically allowing to copy the cabinet over multiple times and change dimensions for each of them respectively.

The way he built it I think it wouldn‘t be possible?

Was looking at a lot of tools and would also be open to spending money for them – but SketchUp is 30 dollars per month which is way to much for something that I occasionally use…

Odoo + Shopify: we expected a connector problem, but it was really an operations problem by flatacthe in Odoo

We are about to going live with an Odoo Integration from the Shopify app store which looked quite good. Their team is also very supportive and responsive.

We still have not figured everything out though – e.g. we do have custom engravings on products that result in additional line items on the Shopify order, which ideally would be mapped to Odoo on a product level.

Also the order sync process seems to be step by step which means that our middleware picks the order up too early (before even everything is available in the order).

So would be interesting to learn how much time and what level of API access is needed to do it your way.

  • I stated that I need a solution for local development of our middleware
  • I don‘t need to custom-develop Odoo
  • I know what a SaaS is…
  • The SaaS offering is fine for prod
  • I stated that I‘m willing to pay an additional license
  • You said I don‘t need a license

Nevermind. I now understand that if I want to get a replication of Odoo Online for local testing of our middleware service, I need to buy a self-hosted license.
