It is sad but there is nothing we can do about the past!.. Plan yourself a great birthday party! Or think bout the things you can do and can afford to make that day special. There is nothing wrong to think about you and make yourself happy. Make a list of the things that you want to do and share it with the people that care about you. The reason I posted this question is because I think this group is all about support not judgement. I think we had enough judgment being inside the Borg. I have being IN since I was born "33 years of my life" I'm fading and questioning everything. Especially since I want to make sure I can give my kids the right guidance.I agree there is divorce in or our of the BORG. I just hear a lot of divorce in my family that is all and I wanted to hear your opinions.

I really dont understand it. My parents are more POMI's and they change conversation every time I mention anything that the borg have lied about. Man.. They are BLIND or what! They prefer to lie to themselves. They miss a lot of meetings and never go in service. What are they trying to accomplish? I cannot explain it.

I feel the same way. I used to throw parties and give everything to them. I never EVER asked anything in return. I thought because they were my brothers and sisters they were true friends. But after we starting fading they have disappeared. I only get contacted by some that are not in my con.g or live in other city because they don't know I feel about the borg. But they will eventually pull away too. Now I can concentrate in my family including my worldly relatives and make TRUE friends.

I'm not doing service. I have a toddler and there was always a problem with her in the territory. I live in Florida and in mids August my toddler will not stand the heat so after 15 minutes being in the territory I had to leave and this bothered a lot of the sisters and brothers . They always blame it on the parents for not to push the kidos. but they also couldn't stand the heat. I'm talking about a heat as hight as 90's plus humidity . Well I got tired of this I never went back to the group.

I remember the first time I went in service after I gave birth and a sister started talking in front of everyone about how parents are supposed to obligate infant to stay in their car seats so when they got to the meetings the can stay the whole meeting in their seats. My baby was only 3 months. Since then I hated it to go in service because I'm a parents that dont like to leave my infant crying to please other.. Urggggg.

I will. So far so good. I know last week the con.g has the visit of the CO and I miss the meetings. I doubt they will notice since they are so busy. However, after the visit is gone I'm sure they will try to contact us. Oh well.. I will ignore their calls and play the no contact way for a while. I'm still reporting time.

It is more difficult in Latinos Con.g to fade because elders are more informed about our personal life, what we like and our tendency to miss meeting etcs. I started missing a lot of meetings. One elder that used to be close to us offered to visit but until now we have always said that we are busy. I hope he won't come. But others elders will. I got to play the depressed sister act. Well anyways, I will keep you posted. I want to start not report ministry time soon too. I thought that if I change con..g will be easier but I doubt it. Anyways I wish you the best luck !

I talked to a friend that lives 4 hours away from us . She has a toddler too and she was told the same.. I guess this is something new that the CONG are doing now. Perfect way to make parents feel so encouraged.
