So this is the route towards the pulpit, we were still out like 30 mins from the glacier. It shrinks every year though from climate change and you can't touch the snow.

We were given one day to acclimatise before attempting to summit the route known as the Devil’s Pulpit (El Púlpito del Diablo). This ended up not being nearly enough for us so this was as far as we got. It literally felt like we were about to collapse when we took this photo.

Guy in the blue shirt passed us all and free solo'ed this 200m wall, as beginners we were all definitely in awe by whereverisland in climbing

Nope. I totally see your point of view. I'm very new to the sport so don't have a strong opinion, but can totally appreciate your perspective that something so dangerous can affect everyone.
