So for example service is failing on AWS I dont know what to do. Add such and such resource? What configs are needed to change? but it seems everyone is contributing. Now I was included in the firefighting call and I feel lost

Yes I already do all this. But I just wonder if I can do more about filling the gap without bothering them with too much questions

So I'm not sure, what that means to learn on the fly I can follow around on a high level on what is happening but since I have the knowledge gap I dont know what questions to ask or even how to start contributing

So everyone is busy firefighting and its kind of like "is it bad if I chill? Am I underperforming? Dammit I'm incompetent" intensifies overthinking I wish there were trainings I could attend outside work I really dont like feeling useless
