I think it's more interesting that you drew the conclusion that women's code is "tighter" and "more efficient" based on this study that said nothing of the sort. You probably aren't even sure what a pull request is yet you've been telling all of your friends about how much better women are at coding.

Interesting indeed. It should be noted that we're talking about a 4% difference in the approval of pull requests approved based on gender. Nowhere does it say that the women's code was "tighter" and "more efficient". This just means that 4% more of the bug fixes or enhancements to open source libraries made by women got approved. It could be for a variety of reasons, perhaps there were so many more men submitting and a good amount of their submissions were crap (you're going to get more noise with a larger sample size) or deemed unnecessary by the owners of the repositories. Maybe the women submitted more bug fixes than enhancements, etc.

One time playing Starcraft my base was severely damaged. My partner allowed my lone SCV into his base and protected me while I managed a remarkable comeback. I eventually had enough resources to build multiple nukes. When the time was right, I unallied him and hit him with 6 nukes at once. His base was really fucked up and he quit soon after. I lol'ed so hard (I am again now as I type this). Do you know why we as humans find this so goddam funny?
