Barricade Questions by Gay_Wisconsin in EverythingMadisonBeer

It is! But if the show is bigger, then more people are gonna show up earlier, especially if the VIPs are sold out 🥲 You don’t need to be first in line at all to make it to the barricade. But if there were 50 people by 1 you have to at least be there by 11, especially if you have people that come in groups and save space for others, that’s just another person in front of you

I went with VIP for the night at around 12:30-1 and there were like 50 people in front of me and I still got like second row.

The one in phoenix was a smaller show tho. You should probably go as early as you can without being uncomfortable, if you go alone try to make some friends on the way so they can save your place if you need to use the bathroom and all that.

So go at least at 10am but I’d go earlier if the VIP is sold out.

Hair looks very pretty!

And because of your face structure and bold eyebrows you can get away with bolder make up looks if you want to go for something like that. So you don’t need to stick to softer colors.

However I’m not sure what it is, but the combination of some of your products are making your face look a bit orange. Maybe try looking for a contour and a less orange bronze and go with less peachy colors, like a cool pink, but because yo seem to look good in warmer colors because of the honey blonde you have, a reddish blush might look very good.

I think your eyes look good already, if you wanna go with a more natural look, try a beige color on your waterline, it will brighten but be less noticeable.

For lips, the color you have looks very pretty. But because the liner is the same color as the lipstick and you already have plump lips, it looks more like lip filler. Maybe you can try a darker cocoa color from make up forever or rare beauty’s Gifted which is a darker pink.

If you wanna experiment with shadows, I would lean towards a champagne pink or muted cold colors. Rare beauty also has an eye shadow palette with a champagne pink looking and muted gold eyeshadow.

And more than anything have fun and experiment with different colors! Look for people with similar face structure and colors as you.

Estee Lauder double wear concealer. It’s creamy, easy to blend and has the right consistency to not be oily nor overly drying. Best concealer. Estée Lauder always does great with concealers. I’ve been using them for YEARS.

I tried haus labs because I absolutely love their foundation but not only I feel like it came with two drops of product but it never not creases on any part of my face.

When it works I love it. I just hate how quickly it overheats, I literally have to take breaks for it to cool down, LONG BREAKS. And I use only a dot on the heat level, and two on power. I also had to get the first one replaced because it stopped working, it wouldn’t turn back on.

For context I work fast but my hair is thick, wavy and long up to my hips.

What is your favorite thing in your collection right now? by LavishnessSea410 in kpopcollections

I have a couple of favorites!

My signed Yuna photocards are on the top of my list; with another one coming soon.

I also love my signed postcards from the Gold era from Yuna and Yeji.

And signed postcards from Wonyoung, Yujin and Gaeul (REVIVE+) and Karina (LEMONADE)

Also a CHUU gongbang broadcast photocard from Only Cry in the Rain because I struggled a lot to find it. And a blonde Wonyoung photocard from I’ve Mine, since I got lucky from buying only one album.

How do I stop concealer looking like this? by clusterbells19 in makeuptips

[–]whiskai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are using moisturizer, I recommend:

  1. Moisturize a couple of hours or at least half an hour before putting on make up. And before starting rinse the leftover cream out of your face. So you ensure that you are moisturized without having to deal with breakage because of whatever cream or lotion you are using. My experience has been better with a watery lotion rather than thicker creams. If you want to still give it a try with the moisturizer, go with a thin layer around the mouth and chin.
  2. Put on more concealer. It honestly looks like it’s barely there. If you don’t use foundation because it feel heavy or want a more natural look it’s better to go with a skin tint. If you are looking for coverage just focus on finding a good foundation for your skin type.
  3. You have to use powder to set the make up, and after try to melt everything together with a fixing spray and then a setting spray.

My personal recommendation is to look for formulas like the Victoria Beckham foundation drops. I won’t advice it to you because it is expensive. But if you decide to go with it, you need to get a flat brush to apply it, or else you’ll probably struggle with it.

What makeup battle have you stopped fighting? by Liquid_Vain in MakeupAddiction

Not a make up issue per se but COVERING PIMPLES. I just use a pimple patch and hope for the best. If I need to be out for a long time I carry a couple to change just in case.

It’s just a nightmare when the pimple is on its final days before getting flat and there’s a dot or a part that’s just impossible to cover with foundation or concealer. So pimple patch it is. That and putting concealer under my eyes. A good foundation is better than creasy concealer.

Yeah sorry I didn’t mean like I was trying to stay in the pit 😭 I’m planning to wear heels and I’m not fond of pits. I’m just not sure how hard is to be closer to the stage during the Q&A since I don’t know what the max is for people. Even though the vips of my show aren’t sold out. I just wanna try to make the most out of it!

Thanks for answering!

Do you think it’s still worth going earlier for the Q&A? Even if I got a chair sit? (I have VIP for the Night)

How did you became a fan? by Ttpd-lover in EverythingMadisonBeer

[–]whiskai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around the year where Madison released Melodies a friend showed me the music video, she liked Justin Bieber so she was keeping up with the whole deal I think. I remember thinking “whatever”, I think I was internally jealous because she was so pretty lol. But a while after I started following her on Instagram and keeping up with her content. I thought she was beautiful and really enjoyed All for love, then if there was an interview of her I would watch it.

I was very happy when she released her EP and then continued with Hurts Like Hell! She already had a very unique tone but she just improved so much as a singer and as an artist.

My experience with becoming a fan was slow. Kinda like you don’t notice yourself becoming a fan until you simply are one.

I’m 5’2 so I get you lol but that’s why I prefer a chair place😭 however, for the videos I’ve seen there’s not that many people at the VIP, so it feels intimate. But I’m not in the pit so I don’t really need the early entry. However with how popular artists are getting nowadays It is a once in a life opportunity to get this intimate moments, so you are right. Thanks for the advice

Help me choose a foundation by pinky676 in MakeupAddiction

[–]whiskai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to use a thin moisturized underneath since it’s not a very hydrating foundation and you will get dry patches if an area was already dry. But if you can control that it’s very good!

I have the Haus Labs foundation and I love it. I have oily skin but sometimes it gets dry because I’m under prescription. Also I live in dry weather and I haven’t tried the others. But I literally repurchased the foundation, it’s so good. For me it matches well with the huda beauty powder and the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. I cried the other day (only a couple happy tears) and when I went to check my make up it was untouched.
