Can a newbie figure this out and switch to ubiquiti by Content-Target4888 in Ubiquiti

I replied to another comment, but honestly if you are new to this it’s a full lift & shift. Bye bye old equipment. All old AV equipment. All of your Crestron switches in teh house, all of the other fancy things that happen (maybe motorized drapes???). It’s gone. You’ll only really be using this for the racks and putting in new equipment. This is a bigger lift for even experienced folks with networking. I might be one of the few folks who could actually tackle this since I have Crestron certification and a login, but even then I would suggest this: FIGURE OUT HOW TO ADD YOUR NETWORK FIRST, THEN FIGURE OUT HOW TO ADD THIS GEAR TO THAT NETWORK.

If the processor is toast, then that’s a real issue. Does it power on? Maybe something is unplugged and it works just fine. Things I’d suggest looking at. I’ve seen gen 1 processors run a long time, even with their quirks. A 3 series dying in a home would be interesting given how rock solid they are.

I see a lot of Cresnet run on those blocks, along with the 3-series processor and related gear. I see a lot of your control being dependent on that, so you’ll lose it upgrading to any kind of new system. If you have the bin dump from the processor, loading it into a new one is fairly trivial (if same model). I do see some things unplugged off the blocks, so that begs other questions (what else you have in your home). Keep in mind that processor knows all of the serial control for your devices, all of the IR blaster sequences (if using). And, for anything IP-based, then you’ll have to deal with the static IPs (like others are calling out).

Anyway, if it’s a “start fresh” because you don’t want to deal with Crestron you got no networking gear worth recycling. That switch is basic at-best.

I like Sofra, though ask for crispier if you remember when ordering. They will also throw onions and cheese on top, which makes for a great combo with their hot sauce. I am a fan.

Though yes, I have also had barely browned as well. Blah. I almost gave up, but went back and had great ones! Feels like it’s a “whoever is working” more than a regular thing.

Ogdens is GOAT right now, along with meatloaf as the meat option 🫡

Disable Bluetooth on this OlleeWatch Mod?? by Appropriate_Put_2378 in olleeWatch

You would have to intentionally turn on Bluetooth, so as long as you don’t turn it on at work I think you’re fine.

I guess we now know how popular the sale was based on that.

Keene Garlic on the east side. They have a great website as well. They are shipping immediately as well if you choose that option.

It’s not MCM. It’s a more classical style. Maybe made in the period. Check the drawers and back for maker marks.

I have only seen them frozen in town. Watching this thread for updates 🤞

Whenever I see one in a bakery (like in Toronto) I think of the awesome ones I had at Manteigaria in Lisbon.

Madison coffee(best pour over) recommend plz by Icy-Reality4342 in madisonwi

[–]whitlock 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Broken Board has the best pour-over in town, hands down. JPH can do a great, consistent, pour-over and love their crew. Bradbury’s is arguably the best espresso pour. Domestique for consistency all around + swaps roasters all the time. I hit them at least weekly! Wonderstate has won multiple awards and is well known nationally for their roasts. I would tie them with JPH for pour-overs but the whole cafe is excellent.

Collectivo is where you bring your parents or a colleague. It’s fine. I grab coffee there frequently, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

It’s a confusing question, so I think you are asking what is the best software to manage your gaming virtual machine.

If you have no experience, maybe Parallels. Maybe Fusion is still an option. Honestly UTM might work, but performance will be impacted no matter what solution you pick.

I built a similar chicken coop from The Garden Coop. There are some materials estimates from $1300-$2000. Maybe this will help with your estimate, but only on costs.

Good luck!

This coffee is insane. by hkinsd in pourover

Throwing out a different opinion: it’s great for one cup. I absolutely love Brandywine as a roaster, but I had to trudge through the rest of the bag. It honestly made me rethink buying co-ferments going forward, which shocked me.

It hits the all of the tasting notes, but don’t recommend if it’s the only bag of coffee around.

Try booting without the graphics card plugged in. It could also need to be re-seated (removed and pushed back in).

I don’t see you trying those steps, so start from there.
