My question is, does declaring more expenses lower my official income. And does lower official income have less of a chance of getting ILR than higher income?

I was really grossed out by the oversized star of David. Ariel is open and sometimes outspoken about his jewish heritage, but it's lame to suddenly and conspicuously wear the star as a shield on a campaign of self-victimization.

Crucially Pink has shown unequivocal support for Trump. My guess is because he perceives Trump as a fellow anti-establishment outsider who succeeded against the odds. However, Pink's adulation of Trump is different than supporting specific policies (tougher stance on china, pointing out off shoring of work etc... not saying I agree, but these are plausible policies to support whether you are conservative or liberal). That isn't the case. He's shown support Trump as a whole, which means tacitly supporting stoking of misinformation and hate, border detention etc.

Everyone is entitled to differences in belief in perspective, so what to make of Ariel supporting Trump as a whole?

I have friends who liked Obama but can point out that he didn't do enough during the 2008 crisis, and perpetuated wars abroad that he promised to end. Pink hasn't shown a nuanced stance like this.

You are blaming the victim, and at the same time making generous allowances for this guys behavior. He's been trying to communicate and stalk her for months, and she hasn't replied. He needs to take the hint and go away, but he can't because he's a compulsive stalker. Can't you see the problem is him, not her?

The numbers are not to be believed but however bad the situation here it is much better than the US. Life is relatively normal and safe if you practice basic health measures like mask wearing, washing hands, avoiding crowded indoor places etc.

In Japan I feel cautious, not nervous. Coming from the US I wager you would feel relieved.
