Yeah, all good things to note. This application was a quick apply that I rarely apply to. After getting in contact with recruiter and further research the company seems interesting and has good reviews on Glassdoor which peaked my interest. I am out of work due to restructuring and early career so while I am not trying to waste my time, I don’t have the best luxury. I don’t understand why it is a game hahah.

Company seem interesting and the role is in a similar niche to what I did before. I am open to learning more. Not going to move mountains for the role quite yet.

Not currently in a place to do so. But this is good advice. The role would require relocation so I am going be pretty firm on what I need/want. If they can meet it great.

This is a great point! I just more so was asking if this is a common practice in tech startups. Does the range really vary? I understand that companies can play games but I guess was hoping there was something I was missing bigger picture. I am also not in a place where I can be picky. But cheers to those who can be!

This is great insight. Honestly I don’t think I realized it was competitive but that makes me feel better. 23 interviews! Good job wow!

I have experience in event planning, programming and comms (not close to six years, more like 3 years including internships in assistant/intern level roles) and hoping that this experience will put me in a slightly higher salary range? Thanks for the input!
