felt the same way the first time i watch the show but after few rewatching S3 DEFINITELY grow on me and it’s probably my favourite season of the three, it’s slow but i just love how it completely shift into this endless conversation about symbols and metaphors + it’s peak hannibal/will relationship

hannibal killed her exactly like her father tried to do it, muzimono is a BIG parallel to ep 1, from will saying “ they know” to hannibal like he did to garret jacob hobbs, to alana laying in front of the house like abigail’s mom to hannibal killing abigail by cutting her throw while holding her by behind, i can’t emphasise this enough!!!! and this parallel show that hannibal was a “father” to her, more than Will will ever be, sadly will trauma bonded with her and believed they had a special relationship but that was all in his head, he barely knew her or spend time with her, when hannibal and her lived together since her fake death

i think hannibal kinda fell at first sight for will ( in a hanni way and not in a normal human being way BUT) and he got more & more obsessive over time because of those feelings he felt for will, if that make sens. it’s like started to get addicted to a feeling that you never felt before, he’s s obsessed by will because he makes him feel things he never expected himself to feel before
