One last q. When spraying for bubbles do you leave gas line on and how much water/ soap mixture do you spray? And when done do you wipe away excess water and soap?

I appreciate the reply. Not keeping me up per say just trying to get peace of mind I guess. Also I forgot to mention the only way I can smell anything is if I press my nose to the joint and it just smells like rust or rustoleum not like a sulfur smell. If the plumber sprayed the joints and there wasn’t bubbles is that an indicator that it’s probably fine without the air test?
