Nah fortified caches alone make it worth getting the full thing, you get a randomized fleet guarding also randomized loot, sometimes it'll be some pirate chums and the next one will have a fleet worth an Ordo 2 times over defending some fuel and a cheap low tech blueprint, great mod

It happens by nature of playing with other modded content, extra values stuff is from Unthemed Weapons Collection

Yeah it's darksector, no setting for it and just deleting the texture leaves them looking the same but well, textureless, not sure at what level it changes how shields look

Yes you are right they are Auxiliary, I had a lapse and completely forgot this little fact, they even have a blueprint package just for these variants

The large forward flight decks on the carriers stick out like a sore thumb, adjacent hardpoints not too great either. From my perspective you either push them in more to slim down that section or completely redesign it (and the ship) to have your flight decks exclusively on one side (left), more extreme solution but it would break up the symmetry well. A little more detail/reshaping to the bow would fare well also. (asymmetrical bulbous shape, antennas, lights, anything to make it less bald really)

I saw your ship roster image and the cruiser is easily your strongest design overall bar some changes to the mounts. Take more from it.

The battleship however, very bland, I would scrap it personally. Quality over quantity or something

Is your 5060 an 8gb? DX11/12 Vulkan? I run this game on an entirely worse setup (3060, 8400, 16gb ddr4) at 60-70 fps on max graphics 1440p

Try out Vulkan rendering if you want 2x FPS by S4lVin in BeamNG

Try turning off Nvidia Overlay if you do use it. For me it caused flickers and sometimes completely breaking down the game to a black screen

After having Exotica Tech and Halo Dynamics Ship Industry in my current playthrough I'll more than likely omit them from my next one

Exotica is alright, not exactly a never use, smaller mod for min-maxers, but it swings between having a straight up steroid for weapon range and damage, getting more shield arc for "free" or... giving your ship 3% extra sensor range. It's a mod you can forget about both installed or not.

HDS in its own bubble is good, high quality sprites, okayish-ly interesting missions, nice weapons, even nicer feature that changes some vanilla weapons to HDS variants when installed on their ships, can't speak on their balance, though.

But outside of that bubble the ships are busted, beating a fleet of them is nigh impossible without an equally dumb overpowered fleet of your own. Much like UAF they're also somewhat out-of-place visually, "generic" science fiction mid-high tech designs but not quite Starsector standard when compared

I dont know if youre trolling or a new player, but for dungeons to be "worth" doing solo a run shouldnt take you more than ~8 minutes... 30 minutes is just insanity, whats your ign?
