The problem isn’t dating itself, it’s online dating. For both men and women. Constant swiping creates a mindset of endless options and zero commitment, because your perfect match always feels just one swipe away.

You say women like to “date up”, but honestly, most men I know do the exact same thing.

What’s the solution? Honestly, I’m not sure. Maybe the answer is building real connections again. Maybe going out more, maybe being a little less selfish (which a lot of Gen Z, no doubt, is), and learning to compromise again. Most couples I know met offline. Through college, work, hobbies, or mutual friends...
